9:52 i really thought it was going to be a gentle demonstration on how to shred the chicken in a more efficient way but... u really took out all your anger on that poor chicken lol😅🤣 love the video!! 🤍
Aw, I was hoping to see how it went at the post office. Nobody ever shows the Japanese post office and I'm curious how those look and operate. Please consider showing it in a future video (if they will allow filming)!
If you’re watching, tag me in your favorite parts so I can share and repost on IG stories!! happy holidays 🎁🎄 don’t forget to spread kindness and show compassion for others -- it’s been a rough year!
This vlov was so great. My son was in Japan with Marines for 3 years. My grand daughter was schooled there. Love the country and culture. Thank you for sharing
I really hope you get the Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks in the next episode! It was my favorite holiday drink up until they rudely stopped bringing it back in the United States.
Compared tp Canada Post prices these are so affordable!! A small package with no insurance and not priority (i.e. goes on a ship takes 2 months to get there) is 25$. Shipping what you shipped would have been double the price from here to overseas at least. I hate that it's so much because i love to mail gifts!! ❤️
I kinda like how eclectic these ja-vlogmasses are, like a little bit of everything, with lots of every day stuff, like a day in the life of Caitlin's Japanese\american Christmas. It's a really fun and interesting series. Looking forward to the Xmas 7\11 haul later on too woo hoo. Haha.
For someone who was unfamiliar with Vlogmas, you are NAILING it! Favourite Vlogmas videos to watch. Thank you for adding your special foreigner-in-Japan touch to it, it's so enjoyable and interesting to watch!
Yayayayayayy! I would love another travel video of you visiting somewhere with your friends. Though I know that’s hard to do with covid. I also really enjoy and miss the videos of you walking around your town with GusGus! I’d love to see more of those videos^^ But Im really enjoying your vlogmas vids! Those were such cool and thoughtful gifts!
This was suggested in my feed today, and I forgot how much I love the pottery - especially the stuff made by your pottery sensai back then. Do you do pottery anymore? Also --> still wanna go to Japan thriftstores and buy so much of that pottery, OMG!
Definitely a 7-eleven haul and would love to see more of Japan so pretty much anything you post I’m happy with!!! Love your content and it makes me want to come to Japan even more. Maybe a video about your work and career over there would be cool but you might have one already, I will go look! 😊 I honestly dream of moving there but I’m an orthodontic assistant so I think I would need to change my career. Thank you for sharing!! Happy holidays!! 💜💜
This year is different because of covid and we’re basically on lockdown the whole year so it doesn’t feel the same as before. Thanks to your ja-vlogmas I feel the Christmas spirit better! 😊
I love all your vlogs! You have such a great way of explaining and showing things to the camera to make us feel like we are there! And I am also really loving Ja-Vlogmas!!
This video really helps me distracting myself from being in the hospital. Thank you for your videos, I enjoyed them before already a lot, now I even enjoy them more, since I have nothing to do and have to wait until the medicine kicks in.
4:53 love the redemption story of Oscar, the flower hand soap 😅what a comeback he made from you being skeptical of him actually working to him now being a go-to gift for friends 🙌🏼
I love the little poop pencil toppers it’s funny and cute. Omg if our thrift stores looked as clean and the items looked that good I would always shop thrift. Our thrift stores are sometimes dirty and the items questionable. I enjoy watching the Japanese lesson class. And your sensei is hilarious 😆
Love it! Kit Kat's for Sparkling wine. I've tried Pop Rocks and Prosecco! You remind me of Interior Designer Sarah Richardson. You'll have to check her RUclips shows. Merry Christmas🎄🎄🎄
Hi Caitlin! Love this video. :) What’s the situation with snow where you are? I’ve never seen snow before so I would LOVE to see snow if you interact with any this winter! Have a wonderful Christmas!!
I loved watching all the gift wrapping ! Especially because of the reused stuff, I think wrapping paper/bows/gift bags are a waste if they're used only once, I've always had a stash of gift bags, bows and paper that could be reused and some of them have gone through several different people but all have come back to me somehow? Lol so I was really glad to see you also have one ! Although much more organized than mine, mine just sits in a corner of the closet :p
Goodness, I really miss thrift stores. I haven’t found any in France, they are more like antique stores here. I love that they keep everything so clean 😍
I for the sparkling wine Kit Kat’s at H-mart here in Dallas a couple weeks ago. I thought of you as I bought them so that’s so funny you have these on the blog .
Thanks for always making such awesome videos!🥰 I really want the bow coke to be a thing in sweden, but it won't probably ever work. Because in Sweden we have something called "pant". When you have finished your drink, you can you to a grocery store and they have a sort of machines where you put the bottle in and you get money in exchange! I started to laugh so hard on the chicken part because I didn't think you would be so rough with it! The most embarrassing part is that I am on the bus😅 I really want to be a part of your family so you can send me a bunch of snacks haha Love from Sweden♥️
from memory karate means the way of the hand the "te" is hand kanji when written I'm pretty sure. Kara usually roughly translates to Because or cause of etc. Counting and te form/ potential verbs always mess me up too. Great video!
Hi, Caitlin! Lately, im really enjoying your vlog! Im an Indonesian but I used to live in Japan countryside too! It’s really nice to see your daily life there bcs i really miss japan so much! I also had my struggle time to learn japanese back then bcs i also had to go to japanese high school. I hope you can always be happy and enjoy your japan life! xx
🤣🤣 ..and here comes probably my favourite vlog so far (and not only because of a making a shredded chicken tipsy🤣 I very much apprechiated the whole chilli act🤣)
wow I was surprised with the shipping price to be priority and insurance and big boxes, I thinks it was a good price, here in Spain for 2 small boxes less than a 1kg each it was 50€ to the USA not priority or insurance. Great video loved it 🎄😁
Please do the New Years grab bag! I've always been intrigued and love seeing clothing brands(as well as other accessory stores) and what they put in these mystery grab bags. The pokemon center does them too which i find so cool
I was one of the people who requested cooking stuff ! Mainly because I want to see how you actually use all your pottery on a daily basis haha but I'm also curious about any cozy recipes you might have, angry shredding or not 😅
Side note, you're an inspiration to start my own channel! My husband and I just moved to Puerto Rico (not as adventurous as Japan!) And I want to document it!
How does these mashines with the hot and cold drinks works? Is it a very hot plate where the cans sitting on? I wish I had these mashines available in my country :) I enjoyd this vlog very much, thank you Caitlin 💕
Discovered your videos recently. As soon as I saw you had most of your US household goods it was pretty clear you must be part of the US services. Is there a yearly mail allowance for packages or just for Christmas? You seem to be on a smaller base but in Japan do most families live in military housing that may be more American style living or do most rent from the Japanese market?
I liked your quest to find the deeper meaning for the word karate, only to make your teacher giggle and tell you it's a proper noun! The shipping trips have been fun too
@@heratlas karate means “empty hands” (kara=empty and te=hand)! And as a side note, karaoke means “empty orchestra” (Kara=empty and oke=short for orchestra)! 😊
LOVEDDDD the editing of the 2 Ja-vlogmas!! you are doing amazing !!! By any chance can you tell us the name of the song or artist of the video opening ?
"karate" 空手 literally means empty hand, since it's an unarmed martial arts technique! Originally karate practitioners used weapons commonly found in farming for self-defense, as many practitioners were from the working class, but now they don't use them as often when karate transitioned into a sport. Hope this is helpful!
your japanese teacher sounds so sweet! did you go through the regular post when you mailed the packages? I went in last week and they told me only letters can be sent to the states now :( but I heard yamato transport might do it
whenever my family ship packages to the Philippines from Canada it cost around the same!! I dunno but maybe the price to ship that far just costs a lot 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway I love you’re videos so much!!! Could you maybe do some more food videos?? Or even just random vlogs! Love from Canada 🥰
Random question: Do you think it would be safe for a girl to travel to Japan on her own? A friend is considering doing it since she doesn't have anyone to go with. Something I wascurious about. 🤔 Thx!
9:52 i really thought it was going to be a gentle demonstration on how to shred the chicken in a more efficient way but... u really took out all your anger on that poor chicken lol😅🤣 love the video!! 🤍

@@heratlas either way it was ✨beautiful ✨ and the finish dish it looked really good, looking forward to the next episode of JA-VLOGMAS 🤩🤶🏼

Your chicken shredding was easily the funniest thing ever. I love the coca cola bow, super super cool!!!
Those look like such fun Christmas gift boxes! Could your family and friends film themselves opening the boxes? Would love to see their reaction!!
This vlov was so great. My son was in Japan with Marines for 3 years. My grand daughter was schooled there. Love the country and culture. Thank you for sharing
You guys during Japanese class was sooo cute!! Loved that wholesome vibe
Our thrift stores don't have heaps of electric guitars, or xylophones. WOW 💜
Love the holiday vibe you're sharing! We all need a pick-me-up at these times, and I get mine from you. Thank you Caitlin! ❤❤❤
I really liked seeing how you put the gift boxes together! Each box had a perfect assortment of things. Your family is going to love them!
I loved seeing bits of your Japanese class and learning process! It would be great to see more of that! Love your videos!
Your videos are my favourite to watch on RUclips, I find them so relaxing and interesting! ❤
You are so thoughtful! I normally just order online and ship it to their house, but I miss being able to wrap the gifts.
I really hope you get the Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks in the next episode! It was my favorite holiday drink up until they rudely stopped bringing it back in the United States.
