Not to mention that plants do in fact feel pain as shown in an experiment. The persons of study would put plants in a room, with only one person being the one to displace the plants soil, put fire near it and pulling off its leaves. All other participants observed the plants without violence, but as soon as they sensed the ruiner enter the room, they released a chemical that told other plants, “The danger is back, watch out.” Fascinating stuff!
Markiplier did something similar to this, except he hooked up a device to it (I no longer recall the name of it) that read chemicals or hormones I believe. Then after reading the Aloe Vera plant’s status, a line graph would appear onscreen. It’s been a while since I’ve watched it, I apologize. For a while, everything was totally fine. He wanted to see if talking nicely or singing to your plants would really make them “happy” or not. Everything on the line graph was steady, but as soon as he put fire near the Aloe Vera though (NOT setting it on fire), the steady spikes dropped so fast, it created a straight line down. This new level of obvious lament from the Aloe continued on for a lengthy period of time, and yes, he did feel very bad for it.
Plants indeed feel pain, we just can’t hear it (obviously). In other words, the Vegan Teacher is wrong about, “Plants don’t feel pain.”
