  • "Yogyakarta Magnificence" is a reflect of Gratitude
Harmonica instrumental music with the theme of the 7th Indonesian Natural Award entitled "Yogyakarta Magnificence'' is an ongoing project included in the album Anugerah Alam Indonesia by Sarah Saputri, where the output is a music video that displays regional potential, natural beauty, culture, creative economy and local wisdom of each region. AAI 1's music video entitled The Sun of Dihyang showcases the natural beauty of Dieng (Wonosobo, Central Java). The music video AAI 2 (When Garut Smiles in Longing) showcases the potential of the area in Garut, and then Sarah Saputri presents a music video presentation that is widened to several areas in West Java which include Bogor, Ciwidey, Sukabumi and Kuningan. The music video presentation can be found in the 3rd to 6th music videos which have been released on Sarah Saputri's RUclips channel.
Talking about the concept presented in the AAI 7 music video this time, Sarah Saputri touched on the regional potential and natural beauty in Yogyakarta. However, this time the music video is presented more broadly by adding aspects in the music video, namely regarding civilization. Civilization in this case is shown by the Plaosan Temple which is so magnificent and has become one of the tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. The potential of the area around Yogyakarta that is included in this music video includes natural beauty as well as local wisdom as a complement and can represent humans who live side by side with nature in "civilization".
“The hope is that the audience will gain insight that humans are inseparable from the cycle of life that repeats itself and is connected to nature and its environment. However, one thing that cannot be repeated by humans is "time" and "time" shows its existence through "inheritance" which is the guide. I want to invite the audience and listeners to be more grateful for everything that God has given and has entrusted to us as heirs of His greatness," said Sarah Saputri.
In this music video, Sarah Saputri occasionally plays the harmonica as a form of gratitude, happiness and amazement to the almighty in the elegance of her harmonica playing. The presence of Nasirun, a well-known painter, artist and painting maestro who is known for using elements of Javanese culture in this video, means a lot to Sarah. “It's really extraordinary Pak Nasirun, he's a Legend! I am grateful that Mr. Nasirun is willing to be on frame when he is responding to his painting entitled Ibu Pertiwi, besides his work is very beautiful, it is fortunate for me because this painting relates to the theme of this music video. I'm sure, all of this is not just a coincidence, “said Sarah.
The shooting locations in the "Yogyakarta Magnificence" music video include Mangunan Tourism, Parangtritis Beach, Sundak Beach, Parangkusumo Sand Dunes, Imogiri Cemetery and the Yogyakarta Palace. In addition, batik, which is the hallmark of Yogyakarta, is also included in this video, where the shooting took place at Erisa Batik. Typical food is also not left behind, namely tiwul ayu, where the food is made from cassava and has been consumed by the local community for a long time. The wardrobe used by Sarah Saputri is the work of Bayu Kuntani, a designer from Yogyakarta.
The shooting was directed, carried out and edited by Prakoso Umam who was assisted by Geges. The production assistants are Cici, Bonie and Laily. Meanwhile, the creative music process was carried out in early February 2022, where this song was written by Sarah Saputri and arranged by Jason Limanjaya. In this case, Jason Limanjaya presents music that is more magnificent and elegant with orchestral music, and as a complement, Aditto fills in the guitars. The mixing and mastering process was carried out by Tantan Nugraha (Garputala Studio).
The Yogyakarta Magnificence music video will be released on Sarah Saputri's RUclips channel on February 26, and can be enjoyed in all digital stores. Enjoy!

Greetings !! I'm in love with your playing style.
I would be very grateful if you could enlighten me: Is there a difference in the ease of playing, in terms of blowing and breathing, between the different Chromatic harmonicas manufacturer?
I have an 'Easttop Forenunner T1248NV' harmonica (no valves), and also an 'Easttop T1248 Silver Key-G' (with valves). Both are very easy to play (like diatonic harmonicas) - very weak blowing and breathing already produce a sound.
I bought the 'Ceydel Volcany 48' in which I have to invest a lot of power to make a sound.
Do you have any idea about this?
    Many thanks in advance
