It also helps a lot to type at a crazy fast speed, just average typing speed won't do, at all.

Hi Tess, I followed your directions in a video on recommended companies to work with. Happy Scribe shortlisted me for a test. But I don’t know how to take the test. After clicking on the guidelines and reading it, it takes you to the test page proper, with a video and audio. My problem is there is no google or Microsoft docs below or anywhere, that the transcription or subtitling can be typed on. The only options are proofreading and guidelines to the top left, submi to the top right.
Kindly educate me on how to do the test, I mean, what to click on to start writing the answers, corrections and subtitles

I took transcribio test and failed miserably :) I got this test where the speakers talk with some heavy/thick accents! 90% of their dialogue was inaudible! I challenge anyone to understand what theses guys were saying lol!
Transcription is a skill, the more you do it, the more your ear get used to it. Try practicing with random audios.
Lol... I tried the transcribio test too; got to the transcription part and slept off after listening to the video over and over. The first test I tried anyway😓

Hi..new to this transcription business..tried one of the practice adios at scribie and took me 3/4 hours to write out the text and type it out...lol.Realize I need software to slow down the audio and need to increase my typing speed...also the money seems very small for the amount of hours you need to put in..??

I did the test a while ago and in my experience it's actually one of the easiest. I'm not sure why it's being difficult. Are you sure you've read and followed the guidelines.
@@tessogamba I passed! I was not following the guidelines correctly :S so.. what's been bugging me rn is that there are no files available every time I log in, and I log in all the time. I thought Scribie had lots and lots of jobs to do, I'm disappointed
But during a transcription test you will be asked not to leave the page. If you do then the test is over. This applies to gotranscript so in this case how do we past on google

I had discovered these techniques by myself after spending so much time. Wish I had watched this video earlier.
Do u remove the punctuation marks from the auto generated transcription in otter and temi? Are the placement of comma and period accurate in these auto transcription site?

Glad you found it! I usually edit punctuation when they don't seem right to me. The software usually have mistakes. Use Grammarly for punctuation.

You could try but Verbit has become saturated so I think they are taking less and less people nowadays.
Try emailing them because I also waited( almost a month) until I emailed and they told me I didnt get through. Mind you, there is no explanation or anything

I’m taking my first transcription test and the audio has a lot of background noise. Music, birds chirping, etc. do I put that in my transcription
In my experience you shouldn't but check what the guidelines say. Follow the guidelines

If you can't find it then you use the options available to you. You can Google the softwares.
