I cannot live without the Izmir men’s version, I’m female, I wear them all summer. I do agree that they are everywhere but I broke my big toe and damaged my spine and I cannot wear any of my shoes apart from the Izmir, I do not know what I’m going to do now winter is approaching! 😢 I do see them everywhere and it didn’t used to be the case. I need comfort more than anything else and the only other alternative is a flip flop! I love your channel, been following you for ages! 🫶M 😊
I also have similar feelings about Oran sandals…I see it everywhere lately. I think a must buy this season is scarves! I absolutely the double sided scarves in Hermes. For the quality and the artwork, it is absolutely stunning! I bought a blue tiger scarf that is double sided. I need to frame this..absolutely stunning. I think spring summer, palladium any bag highlights summer look!! Love you videos ❤
I agree re: Orans & for me they are so uncomfortable.... The double faced scarves also have my heart! I think I've decided on "Le jardin de Peintres" in blue azur for spring--the colours are everything :-)

You are right with the Oran sandals, I have five of them and I really fought against my desire to get more, because at this point I could get my self a Kelly for the price of all the Oran I have, plus they been copied everywhere now.
lol i love my oran sandals! they are perfect with shorts which many of us live in, in a tropical climate. it’s true they (and the dupes) are everywhere but in my part of town, so are the birkins 😂

I prefer the Oasis over the Orans because they look dressier to me. I only own two pairs of Orans - one shearling and one suede. 😉

I do have to say that I have been wearing Orans for at least 5-6 years and I love them! I find them super comfy and bought several colors. But maybe I find them comfy because I have a very narrow foot. And yes, now they’re everywhere (or at least the knock offs are). Also, I live in Ft Lauderdale which means we live in sandals down here.

How about oasis sandals? I’m debating myself to get one instead of oran sandals. I was thinking I’d get the first oran but when I tried on it’s too flat for my feet. It could get my feet in pain but I’m afraid that oasis sandals might too😂. Thank you for sharing this.
I thought I liked the orans in gold until I tried them on. Not recommended for flat, wide feet. I don’t care if the leather stretches with wear. I’m not going to be in pain over some sandals.. maybe heels though😁
I can’t imagine wearing a totally flat and unpadded sandal myself, but I do have difficult feet.
Due to the comment by the other woman in this post, I must try the chypre sandals, although furry shoes in Florida are not a vibe.
The Chypre do come in leather / suede with no fur 🫶

I agree especially with oran sandals. It's nice but i'm hesitant to buy it bec everyone has it, and bec i've seen dupes of it like steve madden's. To me once something can be duped by other brands i just lose interest. But that's me 🤷🏻♀️

Love your videos very informative! FYI I do have the Kelly bracelet you mentioned, I’m not sure what you mean by stuck, but I wear it every day and have never had issues with it, it’s easily my favorite bracelet because of how it sits well with its oval shape and easy to take on and off etc. so for lovers of Kelly bracelets, don’t shy from trying it out!
After much thought on the Orans & how/where I’d wear them I decided it was too much $$$ for such a casual sandal. I found a dupe on Amazon & never worry about walking in sand/grass in them. But I did invest in the Candy instead. It’s casual yet sophisticated with just enough heel (I’m 5’2”) to feel elegant yet still comfortable to walk in. I feel they were worth every penny. Bonus is the Candy is wide… I have a bunion & have zero pain in the Candy. I’m a true 36.5 wide & the 37 Candy fits perfectly.
The Candy must look so chic on you 😍

Love my Kelly bracelet. I get so many compliments on it. The best part is I got it 1/2 price after someone’s journey lol. It does get stuck on my hair because it’s long. I’m ok with that though

It’s interesting. The sh fit like a glove but I knew I wanted to wear the Tiffany lock bracelet with it someday so I found the st. It goes up the wrist a bit. I guess you have to like a bangle and I know some people don’t. It’s a keeper.

I had the kelly chain bracelet and sadly it got lost while I was wearing it. I don’t think the clasp is secure enough. So sad , so heads up to always make sure your bracelet is nice and secure 😢

Oran sandals, to me are really not meant to dress up a outfit. They are more like a casual shoe that is a upgrade from normal flip flops. I would rather see someone in oran sandals ( dupes) than a pair of 1.99 flip flops. As ladies sometimes we don’t want to wear a heel, we are more likely to wear sandals in spring/ summer, since many of us get pedicures, orans make our toes look better. They don’t have a lot going on like Dior ( love them to) but the basic orans don’t over power our pretty toes.

As for the Oran sandals I do like them but with very specific outfits such as my daily traditional wear and do not like seeing them with more formal clothing or going out, I don’t think they look flattering in that matter at all 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Great video and I agree with all! I only buy the leather bracelets in their fashion jewellery (currently in love with the Olympe cuff) and wear my 2 Orans in box leather only at the beach :)

Totally agree re Oran sandals.
I have been tempted by the beach towels . Stunning designs and I could justify them if I owned a yacht… but that isn’t likely to happen in my lifetime 😅
So I won’t be buying beach towels.
The bikinis are nice but again , I don’t think I can justify the cost considering how quickly swimwear looks worn.
The winter / fall season is definitely more tempting
I must say, I was going to suggest the beach towels as an alternative to the bag 🌞 It's a great way to infuse a little bit of Hermes into your summer ensemble, but personally, I prefer the convenience of using the towels provided by the hotel / club 🫣

They're nice to be worn to the beach club, but please don't wear them in the city 😅
I have one or two pairs of Chypres reserved for me… I have a collection of Birkenstocks so expect to like them. I never bought these until the pandemic when I realized how easy and useful they are.
I actually have soft spot for Birkenstocks 🙌 While personally I couldn't pull them off, I appreciate the fact that they're not trying too hard..unlike the likes of the Chanel dad-sandals 😅

I understand the thoughts around the Oran Sandler but I think they remain a must because they don’t have much competition.
So many comparable brands have very basic / less appealing designs that cost just as much and don’t look as nice.
