Hi friends, here's another bit of footage from my Strathmore Artist in Residency concert on February 8, 2022 at AMP by Strathmore in Bethesda, MD. This song was probably written by an Irish immigrant living in the American South around the time of the Civil War, but in recent decades has become a beloved and well-known song in the traditional Irish music scene on both sides of the Atlantic.
