Scotty you are a well of information on cars and motorcycles basically anything that has an engine I don't know why these dumb ass Young Bucks try to make fun of you on RUclips keep doing what you doing and keep giving out pertinent knowledge and information
Scotty, I drive standard transmission Honda CR-V 2015 in Europe, in particular in Belgium. Yeah it's a bloody diesel 1.6 i-DTEC, my question is not about the engine that you probably never saw in the US, it's a general question: If we take all generations of Honda CR-V and all generations of Toyota RAV4, was Honda CR-V at any point of time better then the RAV4 ?
KING COBRA I can marry your 27y old sister if she’s beautiful and not like a Mercedes-Bens, expensive and unreliable. I’m divorced and experienced in setting bad girls straight. Send her here in Brussels.
Nice 👍🏻
Very good Scotty first you had me going then as soon as I saw it I should that is you keep it up buddy good work Keith Kuhn
So that's what Scotty looks like without his signature shades
I thought those shades were non-removable.
I thought legends said that he was born a master mechanic with those shades?

I'm confused....is that Scotty or his dad?? I can't tell the difference..
More impressive than automatic transmission and A/C is that Scotty Kilmer Sr. had cable TV wires running to his house in the 50's! Wow, what a pioneer!
and motion detector light!
And a clip on mic on his shirt :)

“Air conditioning! In a car! What will they think of next?”
*Insert terrible cvt transmission*
Edit: it’s a joke chill
Saki Farah underrated comment
CVTs are actually more efficient than a traditional automatic, and can handle tremendous power. Williams F1 used it in an experimental FW15C, and David Coulthard reported that it was brilliant. It's car journalists and everyday drivers that ruined the CVT. They don't like the way that it holds a constant RPM, and the sound that causes the engine to make, clearly not realising that that makes the engine more efficient, and allows the engine to operate at peak power and/of efficiency regardless of your current speed.
Now, CVTs just act like traditional automatics, with discrete "speeds", nullifying the entire point of a CVT in the first place.
@@VigneshBalasubramaniam i think he might referring to the reliability of a CVT.
@@VigneshBalasubramaniam Which i know nothing about 🤷♂️
Hahahaha well played
Scotty, you're missing the unfiltered Camel cigarette hanging out of your mouth and a can of Schliltz.

@@plumbawl5977 yeah whatever happened to just picking the weeds? Now everyone wants to spray toxic chemicals on them
perhaps he liked Falstaff!!
Why didn't you test the 1957 Toyota Corolla?
Robert Keefer because he had ran out of film from filming the 56 Celica and never got around to buying more film
You mean the toyota AC
Because Japanese cars were crap in those days
There were no Toyota convertibles in 1957!
@@RaoulThomas007 you clearly cant take a joke he loves his Corolla and celica
Scotty hasn't aged that much! He still has it! Rev up your engine!
Great!!!
its because he gets serviced regularly with only oem fluids
@@nebulae1992 true. Lol

That and the window AC unit in the 50's footage.. haha. He had me for a minute there..

I almost fell for it too! 😂
Scotty looks pretty young, same hairstyle!
Pretty cool. The style and tone of his TV show came along with him to his RUclips channel.
Scotty preferring the AUTO?? haha that was awesome!

It was new back then, it was a shiny object
Thanks for the blast from the past, Scotty.
So the rumor is true, you were once a young good looking guy. 😁
ROFL , but with not much more hairs ! 🤣 when we look at the older videos , we can see the progressive lost of hairs, just like me :-)
Yeah, he was young once.

That's what I was expecting.
The most entertaining channel on youtube. I'm not a car person, but those cars are the American Dream in metal.
Excellent! You put some different entertainment in your video. Love it. Keep them coming Scotty,
I love the music and the cars from the 50's.
Scotty do you have a son? If so will he have a RUclips channel as well?
he does
Enrique Espinoza He mentions a son in his video , he was in the airforce
I think you misunderstood the video. It’s Scottie playing his dad, stupid!
Salvador Prado I think you misunderstood the question stupid. If Scotty has a son then maybe someday he’ll play Scotty in his video. Get it stupid?🤪

Nah, he was a, helicopter pilot in the army, IIRC.

That air cleaner doesn't look 60 years old lol
+Cana box lol, it's not. It's just an old skit from, I'd guess, somewhere in the '90s.

Great quality video, looks like it was filmed yesterday. Can we assume these are the master tapes or first gen copies?
Hehe
He got ya too
That wasn't an old video dude
He was skitting a film from the 50s but the intro was from the 90s or something. Either that or he's had botox cos he looks 25 years younger :)
R/whoosh
LOL - Loved it Scotty.... Thanks for the chuckles....
That was great Scotty. Revving it up in the fabulous 50s. Cool Daddy-O!

Wow the resemblance is uncanny
Love it.... the good old days..... when quality is the target for mass product including cars.
Am I the only one focused on a AC being inside a convertible
Nope
Hahahah I saw that too haha out of all the cars hahaha
Not that unusual now. My 1970 Corvette has air conditioning.
Might seem weird but it actually is a good thing. My convertible has a/c and on a cool clear night I can enjoy the stars with a little heat blowing over me and on a warm summers day I can have cold a/c on my body while enjoying the scenery with the top down.
Wow what a true legend you are being around all these years helping people out.

Those are some beautiful classics Scotty.
My left ear loved this
J Big my both ears enjoyed this with mono mode
Lol this is true.
J Big My right ear enjoyed it a lot
Scotty, you're already an automotive legend..
Actually the 1956 312 was rated at 225hp. The 1957 312 was rated at 245. All three years had a 3 speed standard, a 3 speed with O/D or the Fordomatic 3 speed transmission. I have owned 3 1956 and 3 1957 T-Birds in my life.
Lucky sumbitch
@@qanommonsense2753 If it weren't for my car obsession, I would be a millionaire. I think the 1957 T-Bird is one of the most beautiful cars ever. But it is not the best performer, nor does it have very good ride or handling. I much prefer the 1963-1972 Buick Rivieras.
That was greatness. Gotta love Scotty
Next week Scotty will find some old footage of his great, great, great, grandfather forging excalibur.

Wow look at that old school Slick Top Scotty
My lord I love the song played at around :50 seconds. Perfect!
Pretty sure this is what inception feels like. Thanks for the creepy Halloween vid scotty, nice to know you've kept the same nuanced twitches through the years
Hi Scotty, back in the mid to late 70's I was an apprentice electrician local-26 in Maryland and worked with a Journeyman Frank Furry he had a 56or57 Thunderbird and It had a town and country radio with auto search. On town setting it would find stations and include weaker ones because you were around town and would likely stay closer to the broadcast tower. Country it looked for the stronger stations figuring you would leave the area sooner and would not want to be searching for a new station every 10 minutes . That Thunder Bird in your video does that have one. I'm retired now (67 in March) and I think I will see if he's still around. He helped me change my clutch in my 71 maverick. A really great guy like you.
Who else got farcry 5 flashbacks when Only You started playing
Omg this is a golden gem
Seat belts you say. What will they think of next?
Man, the 50's seems to have been a blast! What nice, modest times.
Hey scotty your dad was a "Cool Cat" , Rev up your T- Birds!
Scotty how do you have so much energy for a guy who's been working for the past 50 years? God bless you.
