SWME 2024 Webinar - Plastics

Hannah Beaumont, is a regular litter picker under the guise of Me and The Plastic sea and a keen member of Torbay Cleaner Coasts Initiative. Based in Brixham, Hannah is a support worker day to day, but the rest of her time is spent trying to make the bay that little bit cleaner! In her talk she presented some of the ways in which she and the Totbay Cleaner Coasts Initiative work to reduce plastic pollution in the Torbay area.
Claire Giner is the Head of Inspiration and Impact at The 2 Minute Foundation, and spends most of her days trawling the beaches and streets around the Southwest and encouraging everybody to play their part in protecting the planet. In her talk she discussed the work of the 2 minute foundation in tackling plastic pollution and how 2 minute beach cleans can have a substantial cumulative impact!
