Great video! From my experience- stakes tend to bend or break during insertion- not under wind load. The Y stakes fail at the indentations- and those cheap amazon ones fail considerably sooner and easier than ground hogs. I broke 3 of the orange cheapies this weekend driving them into the ground at Santa Cruz Island in Channel Islands National Park. Would be interested to see you run the test with the stakes fully driven into the ground and the load applied above the indentations.

😂👍love the test. Interesting In an emergency of holding or moving a tent, pack or human 3.00 yet 75 cents is better than most.
Really good vid, very well done, and a subject many of us have thought about, now we know, brilliant
Thanks
It’s fun to nerd out sometimes!
