All the points you made about how quickly something can become a mess are very much true. I really like Daria and her relaxed approach. I would be loosing my mind. It's nice to see you working with each other and how much trust you guys have in each other to get through the process together. Honourable mention to the cute cat noises in the voiceover (as always).
Daria probably didn’t have time to the dishes the previous day, or tidy up the kitchen and than the next day, boom it looks like this 😅 it happens to all of us, no shame 😃
April is that mentor friend who helps to "get it done" 😊. I firmly believe that laying and watching something feels goods but organised spaces are much more relaxing to enjoy. If there's is cluttered space in your place, it will haunt you no matter how much you avoid😅. Although one thing I learnt, never organise someone's else area your way😌. Today I had a argument with mom since I kept her documents my way and couldn't find it. Later she said that since she could remember she organised it her way. Lesson learnt - Organisation should work for all and if your sharing with someone then it should be a mutual process.
Using a longer plastic basket would allow her to pull it out like a drawer and see everything inside of it instead of hiding things in the back of the cabinet. Also, use glass jars instead of keeping, for instance, cereals in their bags. That way you see what you have and it looks much neater and cleaner. Save your jars so that you are not spending money to buy them.
This video almost made me sad because my kitchen is already organized. Such a big change gives you suuuch a good feeling. Well done! Loving the episodes with Daria.
Who designed those really high cabinets? Someone smart and short (like me?)! Those are the once or twice a year, extra pantry or seasonal storage spaces. They are designed to maximize every square inch in small spaces.
In Greece, we make sweet preserves with walnuts, almonds or pistachios when they are very very fresh, before the shell is formed. So, pine cone doesn't sound so strange to me! It sounds very aromatic!!! Well, I'll be damned!!!! I just googled it and it seems that we DO make pine cone preserve in Greece as well!! Wow! 😳😳😳
Nobody tells you how much food storage is required for packing kids lunches! Prioritize that tupperware, especially the mini snack containers. Also just realized we have candy up with the medication as well. This never happened before kids but sometimes you just have to get the off limits items up high.
Very nice of you to help her great job I know it could be overwhelming but it is so worth it at the end boy they have large kitchens there she has plenty of room Hopefully she keeps it clean
Eating young pinecones isn't that odd. I've seen many recipes for spruce tips (jelly, beer, syrup). And pine nuts are very common ingredients in pasta dishes!
I'm enjoying watching your videos so much. You are really a blessing to other by helping get their house organize and mind too. I like how you went through every cabinet. I like how daria doesn't feel ashamed too because we all need to get organize. Surprisingly my cabinets are ok but I don't like 2 of my cabinets under the sink and on the side of the dishwasher. I have my bowls in the cabinet on the side of the dishwasher. I dont like to bend down to get them or put away. The bowls and tops are not stack good also there are extra cups under there too. I need to figure out something.
I can't believe the notifications failed me on this. Only saw this video after seeing the next part. To be fair though, I haven't really gotten to keep up at the moment, too busy.
Also, you can just deal with the medicine stuff today. Just this! Think of a nice reward (your favourite dish, a hot bath... Etc) for afterwards and once you're done, you'll feel good. You successfully tackled one thing completely. Tomorrow: Something else that bugs you. Break it up into portions! Doing the whole closet in one day alone, after work preferably, is not realistic and makes you feel like a failure. You're not. Do manageable steps, in case you don't have the Suitcase Designer doing it with you ;-)
I can second that. Stop giving candy and cheap toys to kids cause it just makes problems. They don’t need prizes and treats. My house would be much cleaner if I didn’t have to constantly battle things people give especially to kids.
Daria is going to feel soooooo much better after we tackle this!

*Lookin at tidying videos is my kind of aesthetic*
Totally
I love organizing the minutiae! Would ❤ to do that with all your clients (but I'm in Pennsylvania, USA)
Daria probably didn’t have time to the dishes the previous day, or tidy up the kitchen and than the next day, boom it looks like this 😅 it happens to all of us, no shame 😃
Totally! And one of her boys came in and dumped everything out onto the floor 😿
Agree. One day of not putting stuff back & no dishes makes my tiny kitchen look like a bombs hit!

Absolutely!! The system isn’t as likely to work if you don’t figure it out for yourself! Couldn’t agree more!
I had no idea that I should be having champagne while I organize. Awesome!!!
One of the things that is great for making it not a "have to" into a happening that actually is fun😅
Like a little party... even if you do it by yourself
Also thought my cat was meowing and went to check on him twice, then I realized it was the video 😂😂
Write the expiration date on top of medicine with a sharpie. Really easy to see, I do it on all medicine, vitamins and canned goods.
I ❤ Issy casually meowing to your voiceover

I thought my cat was meowing at me. Then I laughed when I realized it was yours!
hahaha same here
Me toooooo or a cat outside lol 😂

Okay well now I am interested in trying pinecone jam. I learned something new.
People make tea from Spruce tips, which is the new growth on the boughs. It's very good for you!
We eat pine cone in greece too! If you break it you can find the small almond shaped ...nut i guess.... anyway it's very healthy! 🤓👍
The pine jam is super interesting because I have a pine tree!

Thank you, Daria, for sharing your real-life living home. We all have these times, but no one shows that we are human!

I love it when she said
" Kitchen is tougher than I thought....you wanna stay over?".

Saw this on the gram! I’m here!!
I don't store anything I use regularly on the upper shelf inside my cabinets for that exact reason.
Я не знала что ты говоришь по Русски 😮👏

So funny I almost went looking for the cat mjauing in my apartment when I realise it was Izzy and the fact that I don’t have a cat 😅
Pine cones with coffee 😂😂😂
How come you speak Russian? :)
Soooo many ads
