- This is a video on how we save money on our hunting products. Everybody knows hunting can get expensive but you can save money by getting clearance items at the right time of year. Follow along as we jump in the truck and head to a couple of the department stores we have got some deals at in the past. See what’s left after season and purchase items early fir the upcoming season.
I'm in Crossville TN. I go to our local Farmers Co-op after the season. I've gotten the big 2 man blinds on clearance for $75. Also, I go to Dunham's. Bought a 18 ft. Buddy stand for $80. Now it's time to get ready for the thunder chickens!!
Very good point. Our local coop don't carry many items for hunting. But years ago they did and I always racked up on hunting items there. Dunhams is a awesome place also. Our closest one is in athens but i got some good deals at the one in crossville. I hit it every time i got over to my land in tansi. Buddy Im fired up for turkey season. I'm still fighting a heart issue with afib but hoping to have it under control by turkey season.
@@pineylife sorry to hear about your heart condition. Will be praying for you. Do you have land only in tansi or home too. Reason I ask is because I own a carpet cleaning business in the area. Not trying to drum up business lol, just figured I could meet you sometime and help you out at the same time. It's great learning and meeting like minded people as myself.
@@dalewalker2379 Thank you for the prayers. Im sure once the ablation is over i can come off some of the medicine and get back to being me. I just have a tansi lot i purchased last year. no house on it but may be camping over there some. we will have to meet up the next time im over there maybe grab lunch or something.

Walmart and Academy in NWLA. Before season in September and October and after season in February. I have gotten 2 man ladder stands for $25. Always check the clearance isle too, not just in the hunting section at Walmart. Wish we had a Rural King in Louisiana too. Most of my hunting stuff has come from clearance priced stuff, mainly from Walmart and some from Academy.
Thank you for the info. That is a deal on those stands. We also have found hunting items on the clearance isle and even in the men's clothes at Walmart. The the Rural king franchise bought all the K-mart buildings in our area about 2 years ago and I have to say its been real nice. They always have a good selection of guns and they real stock up on tree stands and hunting equipment every fall. Hope rural king keeps growing and eventually there is one in at least every county. Your welcome . We have been hitting the stores here local every weekend since season closed. This year has been a little different due to stores not being able to get product on the shelf. Some of the big scores we have found was rural king %50 off already marked down feed and seed also some tree stands was %60 off all ready reduced prices. So if you have a rural king hit it first.
