I’m late again yall my bad 😭🥲🤪 Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video! I enjoyed using this machine and recommend it especially for anyone looking to get a good introduction into new crafts and bookbinding like myself!
I have just received mine today and tried it. I got scared because it smelled like something was burning even without the papers inside yet! Does yours smell?
@@GoldenJoyVlog hi thanks for watching and great question I didnt recall having a smell with mine however usually heat tools can have a smell when your using for the first time. I make sure to have to room well ventilated when using irons and heat tools and if you don’t feel right definitely contact the manufacturer. I feel like this should have much of a smell at all. Hope this helps 🌸
I just put in an order to Amazon on the Canadian site, where we pay $155.00 for it! You can get a bundle if you order the green but like you, I had to have the pink. lol The green they used makes it look junky to me or I would have went that way as all my other We stuff is green. Except I went for the breast cancer crop a dile which is pink. Oh and I have to wait a month too for it to arrive! GGGRRR
I think it could work however it can’t be chunky with the book spines it comes with those only hold I think 25-50 sheets can’t remember off the top of my head. What are you going for like a chunky junk journal since usually they are? And it would most likely be loaded the same way just take up more space and material if it’s chunky but the glue it comes with won’t probably me enough 😊
@geminidream4347 I would try both ways to see what works but if you’re using this machine I think it would have to be a stack and the thermal glue on the bottom because of how the machine is made the heat plate is only on the bottom. It will come with instructions and the way I used it was following it so hope that helps! Oh also there are tip videos from we r makers that were just uploaded on their channel that gives specific tips on this machine. Definitely use it first and get a feel of the concept

@@plannerzoid Thank you. I just got to wondering will it work for making junk journals? If so how would you load it.

@@plannerzoid So I would have to put the pages in individually stacked rather than the way you would pack them if you were sewing?
