Here's a breakdown of the video.. 1) Ipob was having a peaceful show of solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu and they were strolling through town. 2) There were some herdsmen who were blocking roads with their cows as they grazed. This phenomenon is a source of worry because it is an indirect invasion by cattle rearers who would provoke violence at any opportunity. 3)Because the number of Ipob members marching down that road were many, and the herdsmen couldn't take them on, they radioed for help/backup/protection. 4) Armed soldiers were immediately dispatched to the location to disperse the Ipob crowd. They are usually armed, and they have made a sport out of indiscriminately killing unarmed Biafran protesters--remember Massob killings. 5)When they got there and tried to intimidate the crowd, their antics failed because IPOB members refused to be intimidated, saying that this was their land and the siege in Biafraland would no longer be tolerated. 6) The soldiers were also vastly outnumbered by the crowd, so they had to make a tactical retreat. One of the IPOB marchers kept taunting the soldiers to shoot at innocent peaceful IPOB marchers like they normally did, but that soldier seemed to have his wits with him and resisted what would have been his normal impulse. Or it might have been that he understood that if they had shot at the crowd, the crowd would have executed jungle justice and killed them all. 7) The march continued unhindered by the local armed soldiers.
