- Yes, the new gen of the twins is still as fun as we know it to be. And on top of that it is more competent in almost every aspect! The new BRZ is technically a bit more sophisticated and the rear axle provides a bit more grip. The main difference of the two cars on the video comes down to tires though - the GR86 runs on 17" Michelin Primacy and the BRZ on 18" Goodyear F1.
See kids, you don't need welded diff and e-brake smashed on every corner just to get sideways
Coming from someone who has drifted cars with open diffs, a welded one would be preferred.
@@tractorguy1994i’d prefer an lsd
@@drake8691 Well that's better again isn't it.
Yup, just some water..
Sure you dont, you have lsd here 🥲
The weight transfers to get the cars drifting was just perfect😮
Finally a legit drift battle! Love it!! Yall are going flat out for speed and grip, just like Initial D!
I accidently drifted my new BRZ today (automatic). I'm coming from a modded crosstrek.
I filled up my tank today and every dang camaro, mustang, challenger revved their engines when they saw it. I heard more revs today in an hour than in an entire 6 month period today. It was like they hive mind heard that the first BRZ was sold in NC.
An automatic tho....
I also have an A/T 2022 BRZ. And it almost slide everytime. to the point I need to hold back on the gas. All was in stock 18 with PS4 to begin with. The best parts is, when it sliding ur passenger wont even know it until they heard the tire was screaming. It was very stable and sturdy yet very2 manageable slide/drift. You feel as the car was one with the driver.
@@1Solace he just said he got it sideways bro lmao 😂
Leave him be
BRZ driver takes better lines and also better selection of drifs to be used in different corners
ahhh...best cooperation of car companies in recent years
awesome driving for both drivers
Different strength sway bars and different attachment points for the rear sway bars make each brand a different handling car. Toyota tuned their car for a little more oversteer.
Awsome! Looks like the car in front (toyota) skids little more, Maybe because of the tires like you said in description...🤟
Also GR86 rear suspension is more stiff then the BRZ as it’s more of the hooligan out of the two cars
Was the BRZ stock? Or were there changes to suspension/camber etc?
Mhm thumbnail promised more than a short pov video ...😊
Super 👍 olejová vana a motor je stále v pořádku? děkuji
Well done definitely looks the brz driver can handle better tho
Toyobaru.
Subota.
so the two cars that share most parts are similar... wow
top driving
As always 👑
I wonder how’s the RTV stuff is doing afterwards
smoooth
Česká Lípa?
Toyota and Subaru should use this for the commercial.
👍
Definitely not on extreme contacts.
Where is this Track?

Is it possible to make the BRZ as tail happy and fun to slide as the 86?
I own a BRZ. To my surprise it was already a very2 tail happy car. with stock 18" and PS4 to begin with. It also slide even when all the safety measure not turning off (VSC, TSC). to compare with the previous gen1 is like apple and orange. It was way more stable and slide like nothing happen. I once slide the car during a u turn and my wife didn't even know until she heard the tire is screaming. all that at only 3.5k RPM. but I guess the GR would be more tail happy then.
@@yusripp Alright then! I'm picking mine this weekend so I shall see :)
@@zydomasonhow do you like it?
@@MeltingRubberZ28 I'm not sure if it's a skill issue but I find it very understeery and difficult to initiate and control a drift sometimes. I'll do camber changes soon and see how it goes when it's closer to 86 roll couple value
@zydomason beef up the rear sway bar maybe?
