How to Receive Gifts from Jesus | God Wants to Give You Healing

- Do you struggle to receive-either from people or from God?
Have you been told your “receiver” is broken? You just need to learn to trust God? To let go? To abide? Or that your nervous system is broken? Your limbic system is shot?
As Westerners, we often have trouble learning to receive. Maybe you can think of a time when someone was generous towards you but you struggled to accept it. Or maybe in your state of chronic illness, you hate the idea of needing to be taken care of. You just want to be independent.
If any of this sounds like you, then chances are you need to practice receiving-from people and God.
But how do you shed this old self and learn to gratefully and freely receive gifts and goodness from people and the Lord?
Take it from me, as someone who deeply struggled with receiving, God truly wants to shower you with His grace-gift of love and healing. And there are steps you can take to make receiving a regular, natural part of your daily mindset.
Follow along with me as I give my own personal examples and practical tips you can use to relax in a posture of receiving.

I think that if we desire to know and follow Him, and we put in the "effort" (not works) by being in the Bible and praying even when we don't feel it... He will strengthen our faith. He is the author and finisher of it! Just a pinch and He will work with that. I pray that the Lord strengthens your faith. 🙏
You didn't go looking for Him!! He is drawing you to Him. "No one can come to the Me unless drawn on by the Father" As sinners we wouldn't come to God unless He called us...Adam and Eve hid when God called to them. We are rebellious and would never come to Him unless He drew us on
He chose you and knew you before He formed the foundations of the Earth.
I was where you were and being tormented daily unable to get out of bed and never knew He was always there. Our minds get in the way...I didn't understand but imagine yourself trying to will a chair to move, you have your eyes squinched shut and you think if you have enough faith the chair will move. That's what I was doing by trying to feel Holy Spirit...He has an appointed time for everything and if you are TRYING to find Him with all your heart and soul, you will be found by Him 🙏

God certainly does not want to give you healing. And if healing from god is conditional He sure isn’t worth worshipping.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I used to think and feel the same way actually. Not sure how much of my story you know, but I was an atheist. God felt so far from me that I didn't even think he existed. My story is long (you can watch my story on my website www.breakatrin.com) or just do a search on RUclips for "Brea DNRS Testimony." So I won't go into it all.
In the end, God showed me that he is definitely real. And that he has unconditional love for me (see Romans 5:8). On top of that, through getting to know his love, grace and mercy, he had *un*conditional healing for me too. Same goes for you, my friend. I hope someday you can see that truth as reality.
@@breakatrin well thank you for your reply, I’m not sure about the label of atheist I’m surely open to seeing evidence of the existence of anything supernatural. Also I’m not sure what you mean by healing? If you’re talking about healing things like cancer I can assure you Jesus doesn’t do anything like that. Learning to give Jesus credit for positive things that happen in our lives and blaming Satan for the bad is very evangelical in nature. But again if you have evidence please pass it along I would love to see it. Thanks!
