    Check out this absolutely stunning 1956 Ford F100 Pickup Restomod! This F100 Has undergone a complete Frame-Off Build and it received lots of custom and performance upgrades during the process! Take a look at the glossy Red Exterior Paint, Wooden Bed with Polished Strips, Polished Foose Wheels, Polished Grille and Bumpers, and the Polished Exhaust Tips. Inside, this '56 is sporting a Custom Tan and Brown Interior with Tan Carpeting and Floor Mats, Leather-Upholstered Bucket Seating with a Folding Armrest Seat, Tilt Steering Column, Polished 2-Spoke Steering Wheel, and a Custom Dashboard with AutoMeter Gauges.
    Under the Clamshell-Opening Hood sits a Ford 460ci V8 Engine that's making 491 Horsepower! This powerplant is fitted with Edelbrock RPM Performer Cylinder Heads and Air Gap Manifold, Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel Injection, a Polished March Serpentine Pulley Setup, Exhaust Headers, and an MSD Pro-Billet Distributor, Blaster Coil, and Ignition Wires! The cooling system has also been upgraded with an Aluminum Radiator that's paired with Dual Electric Cooling Fans. Power is sent to the rear tires though a C6 3-Speed Automatic Transmission and a Ford 9'' Open Rear End with 3.50:1 Gears in an Aftermarket Housing! This pickup is a blast to drive and it's also loaded with Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Power Rack and Pinion Steering, and 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes!     Gotta agree with Greg. Gas fill should never be in the bed itself, I don’t want to get drips of gasoline on the wood bed. Plus having it on the fender is easier to get to.

    My dad had his 1956 ford truck and when he passed he gave it too me and I’m trying to restore it myself in honor of my dad it’s been hard to restore

    In 1971 I was given 1954 F-100 with a 354 Hemi 2 V carburetor. My Dad helped me correct steel plates of 1/4 inch between the front axle and leaf springs and also a pretty much bolt on Mustang/Cougar Power Steering. I did well when I parted with that .
    I traded car’s and trucks like socks.
    Within a year or so I landed a
    1957 F-100 short fleet side with a 428 R code . At the time I didn’t know what an “R” code meant.
