looking at watson's film late this year, you can tell guys like Dak Prescott and Mitch Trubisky helped him. instead of running after his 1st read is gone, he's making better efforts to throw to someone. hopefully he continues to build on that.
No doubt and this was one of his worst games last year. The most impressive thing about him is he has no memory for bad plays. If he can sit for a year he has serious potential. The idea of Trubisky going ahead of him is just totally insane to me.

Mariota is a once in a generation player, the only thing separating him and Watson is Mariota's elite straight line speed and better agility.When you think of some of the more recent great college qbs Watson's in that elite tier with guys like RG3,Luck,Manziel,Newton,Bortles,Winston,Carr etc. Watson will be the first QB taken and will likely be a top 3 pick when you consider Browns,Bears,49ers,Jaguars are picking in top 6. Browns and Jags may stay put with their QB situations but guarantee they'll give him hard consideration.

Winston threw 18 int his last year too and everyone said he would be a bust because of crab legs and ints. It is the same bullshit every year. Every QB sucks and the real gems are "next year" besides for the gold standard Andrew Luck who still hasn't won shit and is at his ceiling now. Doubting Watson at the next level is exactly the same thing. He has so many great qualities but his few negatives have just been amplified to a preposterous level.
