The solid look of single rail tack does remind me of a plank.
Maybe they have a first drop from buccaneers sight with a turnaround/immellman in that plot next to demon so that the first drop has a good photo op. Really hope its not a dive..
I don't have a problem with a potential dive coaster. I rode Valravn at Cedar Point and I enjoyed it. Rakshasa is a gamble for a name (I'm just worried people won't remember it), but hey, as long as its not a DC comic IP, I'm cool with it.
I have a feeling it might be a dive after seeing the park release it’s final teaser in it that teaser 6 words flashed those being tease, demon, seven, steel, five, drop seven and five stood out for me because seven could signify a seven across seating configuration like what dr diabolical has and the 5 could signify that If this is a dive we could be seeing a dive coaster with 5 inversions but we will have to wait and see for the official announcement which I believe is next week on the 15th

The teaser releasing an S, then the next week being &. Is the only thing restoring my faith in their next project for 2025.
Not a fan of a cloned single rail. What about a tilt coaster? Kinda feels like walking the plank. 🤷

@@COASTERnet what I’m thinking is: six flags went to vecoma to get a new tilt coaster specifically for great America, while that are talking to vecoma about this they learn about the already-built tilt and boomerang coaster and buy them for great adventure and Mexico (I know it’s probably not true but hey, it could happen). I just hope whatever ride it is is not a clone, great America has enough of those already
@@COASTERnet Water coaster? The plank is over water. It makes me think of Star Trek where Worf gets plunged when the plank is removed.

Last clue "Shedding Skin" the demon footprint will molt into the new coaster... It's going to replace demon. It will be a tilt coaster- one of the 2 that Volcoma sold...

Demon had repaint on station and new restraints and when they removed rocks they protected track. So we will see ….

I'm hoping for an S&S Axis coaster! We have Maxx Force and Joker. I can see it being possible. The general public loves B&M dives! Walk the Plank, maybe a B&M Surf? My ultimate wish is an Intamin multi-launch.

Everyone wants an Intamin multi-launch for every park. I would be BEYOND disappointment with a B&M Dive.
I’m pretty sure that it is going to be a mini dive like dr diabolical. One of the clued that is posted in the wordle is seven which could be a clue as for 7 across seating but I am not sure yet.
B&m already working on two projects in Virginia. I just find it hard to believe they are doing a dive at sfgam on a 3rd project.
@@COASTERnet I would be so sad. They are so boring tbh. Im not the type to say there are a one trick pony, but they are honestly the weakest B&M model by far.
So it looks like we nailing it done to s&s axis and b&m dive coaster and seven could mean to seven car/seat trains and or the seventh of August it could be the announcement date.

It’s really hard to get 7 inversions on a dive coaster especially if you are going smaller.

Unless its super compact I don’t think it fits there. Dr Diabolical takes up a ton of space. So does Iron Menace.
@@COASTERnet I just measured the buccaneer battle/go karts plot of land on Google Earth and it amounted to 1.9-2 acres of land while Dr. Diabolical only measured as 1.8 acres. It's definitely possible to fit there, the only potential problem is the service road between.
