I still rewatch the scene to this day, a combination of nostalgia and pure epicness.

The part at the end when Visari (Leader of all of Helghan) looks at the screen breaking the fourth wall with a sinister grin on his face gives me the creeps
Its my fav part of the whole intro drawing attention to the viewer and making you think Visari is there watching you.. really scary

The Last White Man really they are the good guys in this sereis of games.. its a great dynamic

This game is too good. Now I may be blinded by nostalgia, because it was the first shooter I played as a kid, but it is a really good game! Every song gives me chills and the game itself is all around fun to play and exiting! This game is definitely my favorite game of all time!

This is still one of the best (if not best) videogame theme for me - it also stands up very well in a comparison with blockbuster movie music. Joris did a great job.

better than Halo
This series started 3 years after the release of the original Halo,Halo (2001),Killzone (2004)
Better than the new Halo games, but better than Halo overall? Nah.
Comparing this to halo is like comparing apples and oranges. This was gritty infantry combat, halo blended in infantry and vehicular combat. Both were great games. Killzone was missing a lot ambient noise in it's missions though, so that gave it this whole desolate feeling instead of a making you feel like you were in a war zone. It just felt like tiny skirmishes here and there
I completely agree halo is nothing.
