Thanks dude! it worked. I updated CrDroid using TWRP without losing data. Didn't need to flash gapps as it automatically backed up and restored during the sideload process.

Your tutorial is best and it works fine brother. I flashed my redmi note 10 pro into pixelos following your guidelines besides pixel os flashing steps. Now I enjoy buttery smooth ui and free of ads as well except my phone battery drain heavily. I bought the phone in June 2022. Can it be fix? Or just a matter of old phone. The battery cycle reads 488.
I think everyone should get an OTG pendrive to ignore the PC everytime 😅.

1.51 I have been facing this OTA Update Issues when i started to using Pixel OS .
AND
JULY'S 18th Update is way More stable then the August Update. August Update cause that power button 🐛 Bugs and Suddenly Phone Turn off automatic that's the thing. thats why i stick with July Update ‼️

Hy brother , i have redmi note 10 pro and i have installed pixel os in that. im on android 12 but today i saw pixel os has released android 13 for redmi note 10 pro on 12th of october but i didnt get that update. so can you tell me how to update to that android 13 without losing data
I got three questions to ask:
1) is it necessary to clean flash for a major update?(Android 12 to Android 13)
2) is it necessary to update pixel recovery (like updating twrp),if yes how to do that?
3) how do you exited the screen that you showed at 1:51?

2. Yes it's better to do so, updating the PE based recoveries is just a matter of flashing the recovery partition with the new file.

I have been using Pixel OS Android 12 on my Mi 10i. It's great but only thing is the battery consumption is abnormally high. Google Play Services is the major battery sucking Service in the background. It's like I never see my phone on in the morning. It gets completely discharged in the night at idle state. I think I am going back to MIUI.
can someone help me? i try to update it and at 47 percent fails like in the vid but when i exit costom recovery and check it says im on the same version any ideas?

Hey bro you missed one more way to install this rom. You can do this step easily by downloading the rom file and paste it in sd card (if you have sd card then this step will be easier without pc) then go into recovery mode and apply update then choose sd Card and select the file then it will update it through sd card. As he said the ota file will download very slow so it's impossible to do it through ota so the best option is to download the file directly and update it through sd card..Hope anybody problem will solve🙂🙂

@@carpediem7654 lmao too late to answer bro. I bricked my phone by doing the above method at that time and lost all my data. Somehow I managed to flash Android 13 again and after that the rest is history now I am back to my home lovely miui.

Custom Launchers are becoming better these days, so yeah the latter.
Or you can use orange fox recovery unofficial build R12.1 or TWRP 3.6.2 12.1 and it will do all of that for you, I mean for sweet as I have the same phone

you'll have to do a factory reset in order to downgrade unfortunatly

Please post how I can do a dirty flash and completely change the ROM itself... i saw a video where formatting had options to choose what to wipe.. sooo.. like keeping data unchecked and checking the box for others formatted the os n installed a different new custom rom and kept data intact.. how safe is that?
