It’s good to note that Trail of Torment also ends if the generator itself stops regressing by reaching 0% progress. I think it’s not going to be too bad, unless a killer also runs fearmonger to hide the marked generator. All around most excited for the clairvoyance change, it’s truly such a good perk for all player types.
So glad you were put in my suggestion list, loved how you put your opinion on the newest update. I've been wanting a Coup de grace buff forever now, but still feel a little iffy on what they did for it. I can definitely follow the 1.5x suggestion XD
At the end of the day, I can never really care about what perks are being nerfed/buffed because there’s always that one perk that loses the bloodpoints bonuses 😭 I really don’t get that at all
My take on Coup is that the buff will actually make it usable. Coup's effect isnt that fantastic, being fairly situational. It lets you maybe get a hit around a weird loop, but since it doesn't actually make you any faster whike lunging, it doesn't help you say, hit a survivor before they fast vault a window infront of you. The two biggest issues with Coup is that it's tied to you losing. To get value, you have to lose gens. Which at first is like: "You're absolutely going to lose a gen or two most Matches, so you'll probably always get value." Which is fair, but also i don't think the ability is strong enough to warrant it. Current Coup (one stack per hit) means 5 uses total across the entire game maximum. If the survivors only do 2 gens, you only get to use it twice total. The second biggest issue is the way it demands that you save your lunges as to not waste your limited stacks. Meaning unless you want to get no value and waste a token, you have to spend an extra 2-3 seconds catching up to a survivor to hit them with a non lunge attack. And if you're in a situation where you really need to down somebody, and you need to lunge, but the situation doesn't require a coup lunge (most loops) then you've just wasted a stack. This isnt even talking about what happens if you miss your coup lunge. Allowing more stacks (2 per gen) gives a bit more leeway for how you can use it. And makes missing attacks, or having to waste them alot more bearable. Seeing as coup necessary situations are fairly rare, if you're getting 2 per gen, and still hitting survivors, you'll *probably* have one when you need it. In my opinion Coup, even with more stacks is still fairly weak, C tier perk. It doesn't do enough, has weird requirements, forces you to play in an inefficient manner to get good value, and is very situational. But that's my take❤
The perks I am looking forward to is Blast Mine and Wiretap. It’s fun seeing killers get stunned! In 2020 I saw someone get dragged into an alleyway and I did nothing about it
Hangman’s trick should not be scourge. Keep the aura abilities Add that hooks cannot be saboed. It now becomes the hook saboeing version of the light born perk. Would make super funny exp, when a survivor tries to sabo a hook and it won’t sabo. Territorial imperative should include main building as well. The lore for huntress is she can tell when someone is in her home, in red forest basement does not always spawn in the main building (her home). This also does not make the perk uselessly stupid.
claustrophobia will be really good but also extremely random i see good plays coming out of it and bad plays, people might want to get tinkerer with it just so they know when its about to pop to prepare themselves. eitherway its nice to get some more vault window perks vs survivors who just want to pre drop pallets so they can be punished later game. im glad coup de grace is getting buffed and it should but they should of done this!, 5 stacks from gens still, but it gets a passive so perk is still useful when out of stacks or not having anything at start. killer gains a passive 5% or 10% attack lunge for 30secs, when a survivor vaults the same window two times in a row, so 3rd time the killer might have a chance to m1 the survivor if they want to go around and vault the window a 3rd time. this would be more balance and fair! cause even though coup de grace almost always has 1 or 2 stacks of it being useless where u could of got the survivor with m1 attack anyways or it forces u to get close like a shape teir 1 myers so u don't use a stack but get stunned by a pallet for being greedy and trying to save stacks. the 10stacks seems like saving the stacks for one person and tunneling them out could be a bit absurd, thats why they should just give like a 5 or 10% attack lunge for killers when a survivor vaults a window around the killer for a certain duration. that and killers like nurse wont use it since they have blink, it will be m1 chase killers which have a hard time anyways.
I'm insanely excited about buckle up. I never used it's original design. But it's been super clutch with for the ppl and we're gonna live forever. I've saved ppl on death hook with that. Glad you did this video. Super helpful
I love coup so much already, use it a bunch on Wesker and I was so hyped when I saw they buffed it in the patch notes. Good hearing your thoughts on these changes dom!
The changes they could do for hangman if they still want it to be a scourge hook, they could make it that the scourge hooks move each survivor or gen completion while still giving the same effect as before. as for trail of torment, they could remove slowdown bonus like the 2.5 percent reduction and other perks like eruption, pop, jolt and other gen kick perks to make it more balanced. Whether or not this is a good change is up to you
I think Hangman's needs a total rework at this point. Keep it as a Scourge, but make it so that survivors either get injured or deep wounds when they sabo it
Completely forgot about the wire tap & blast mine buff! Stacked them for the first time today and as you said, so satisfying when you get value. Looking forward to the update more so for those perk changes now! ❤️
If some one thinks buckleup is fine that person is not sane.its crazy how this could go to live. Everything else is great. Exept hangman and territorial, they need complitly new funktion to worth the perkslot.
i honestly think killers need a buff vs sabotage teams, like boil over on all survivors and all them have sabo! its honestly not a fun match at all! they should make hangmans trick make sabotaging a scourge hook only take longer i feel like that is really needed for killers and they don't have anything to help them out! cause if you go to the WRONG hook and go half way you wont make it to the other one its already hard on most maps and if they bring it so hooks are spread out its IMPOSSIBLE! not even fair or balanced, cause they can also body block!, killers really need hangman to be the sabo prevention hook they can keep it the same way with this new update but make it so saboing a scourge hook only takes 6secs, not 2.3 secs.
Buckle Up sounds like it's about to be a great perk, but then it also kind of makes WGLF useless??? Unless you use it with BU, but then half your build is dedicated to picking up slugs. I don't know man, the killer perk changes sound really good but they have no idea what they're doing with survivor perks at this point. They need to just rework everything at once. Stop releasing new perks and just rework the existing perks to make sense out of them.
this buckle up change is so ridiculously strong. let’s not forget the perk already grants haste as well from the previous buff. i’m wondering if they’re trying to increase ashley’s pickrate still after they scammed everyone on his release 😂 also yes, they need to take a chapter off of releasing stuff, and focus on QoL changes. fully agree there.
I personally don't think any of this changes will affect the current meta, yeah people will stop using prove but...ima be honest prove was such an overrated perk and it will get nerfed so hard and for no good reason. As for the other changes maybe they can create some niche and gimmicky builds, which is good, variety is always good, and fun, but if we're talking about strong perks or how they'll affect the meta, none of them will, the only perk that arguably can be seen is buckle up, but as you have mentioned, mft already does that, and mft paired with wglf can pretty much do the exact same thing as buckle up, yes it does take 2 perk slots, but is worth it bc those perks do extra stuff aside from the endurance, like letting you pick up people faster from the ground or running 3% faster as long as you're injured and not exhausted. Good vid tho
im not for sure about blast mine i don't think its a good idea to have it last 2mins, 4 survivors with blast mine 2mins! no point in even kicking gens? it should only be 1min. most games don't even last that long. it doesnt take much skill to use in first place, survivors should have to time and use it, not just use it and have it work 100% of the time now.
"overall health of the game" 💀💀💀. If you do care about the health of the game you would be advocating for killers getting x4 the buffs. The game is so survivor sided. The constant and unstopable genrushing, the perfectly AI generated SWF teams calling out killers every move or action. The game is so hilariously catering to survivors to make them happy and not angry.
Th3 g@m3 is ba1anc3d. Killer: 10 stacks of cou de gra Claustrophobic who now covers whole map This is also considering killers have a lot of viable good strong perks. Let’s see survivors strongest perks Blood rush can be used 1 Un breakable can be used once Decisive strike can be used once (if I’m not mistaken-if is ma mistaken still not any better = 2 uses before last gen pops then it is not useable after last gen). So nice to have an amazing dbd commentary RUclipsr with neutral opinions for once, legend.
thank you so much 😤🤍

I am pretty sure Knight guards don't trigger things like trail of torment when they kick gens for you
i think you’re right. if that’s the case, this will still be absolutely insane on some movement killers, but maybe not so strong on the m1’s
As a knight main they don’t. You have to go and kick the gens yourself to activate gen perks
@@goodbyed0mI can’t wait to test iridescent myers with this.

Them buffing Saboteur and Breakout, probably wanted to give something back to counter that, maybe?
For hangman's trick*
I really miss using spine chill for vaults :(

I love coup so much already, use it a bunch on Wesker and I was so hyped when I saw they buffed it in the patch notes. Good hearing your thoughts on these changes dom!
coup is one of my favorite designed perks in the entire game. so excited to run it on every build :)
If only we knew back in that day that FTP + Buckle up was gonna happen... So much trauma would be prevented...

Honestly I think this is a good idea
Even if it didn't work it would be different
I think Hangman's needs a total rework at this point. Keep it as a Scourge, but make it so that survivors either get injured or deep wounds when they sabo it
Kicking gens with your power doesnt activate perks
yeah that was my bad :( there was a bug where knight guards used to activate eruption and that’s why my brain went that route
Completely forgot about the wire tap & blast mine buff! Stacked them for the first time today and as you said, so satisfying when you get value. Looking forward to the update more so for those perk changes now! ❤️

Glad Claustrophobia got a buff
Nowhere to hide + Trail of Torment is gonna be my lovely combo on Bubba >:)
Definitely can’t wait to try the buffs out and see how the work in-game, but I’m kinda excited to see them change kinda “meh” perks
Windows is an accessibility perk lol.
Wait! Trail works with Knight! @_@
Maybe have a topic of the demogorgons portal glitch with survivors??😊😊
To keep the game in a good state they had to make a sacrifice, and as always pig took the L (at least the change is to her perk this time).

which colorblind mode are you using??
its filters
Lets go i love getting even less blood points

Good vid tho
visual terror radius needs to get nerfed😂 jk i love having 5 perks basically.
if you see anyone running spine chill pls call them out
I want to see smash hit
That was perk when I used EVERY MATCH when I started playing dbd ;v;
