    You and the car both have more, kind of like you said you get stuck and can’t just jump a row because you don’t know who’s there! And those top 3 win all over the place I race with them from time to time. Your just as fast as they are 💪🏼

    • @DIRTRACELIFE
      @DIRTRACELIFE  Год назад +1

      i wanted to jump out and try the high line bad but knew to just stay down on the yuke tires and dont give up even 1 inch.

    • @JDog20-20
      @JDog20-20 Год назад +1

      Looks like you are way to low on entry and it’s causing you to be to straight at first tire and then having to turn harder to rotate. Looks like a half car higher on entry would make corner way smoother. Watch video again and pay attention after caution to initial entry compared to other cars. Enjoy your videos and best of luck

    Our local track champ starts right in front of you. You was over second faster than him in heat qualifying. Fastest 4 cars should have started pole in the 4 heats. Just my opinion. Be safe have fun and get the Win

      Definitely stacked the heavy hitters all in heat 4. But she'll come to the front!

  • @MyFirstGen
    @MyFirstGen Год назад +1

    Looks like you drove a different line in the race then what you did in practice. Is it because you couldn’t get it up higher or was it your intention to race the low grove? Like I said in past videos, I’m an ex asphalt driver, used to seeing the door banging bumper rubbing bull ring racing. Great job getting in the show. Love your videos. I’m going to have to go down to Tennessee to eat some dirt with you guys. Good Luck!

      @DIRTRACELIFE  Год назад +1

      There was some traction right down in the bottom and I set the car up to be a bit looser and work the bottom. I was sticking low to protect that line because if someone got under me I likely would not have been able to pass them up in the slick. I definitely got lucky with that late caution because that 555 had me. . . .

    How did you find the rules for this race I might have a car that fits the rules for factory stock maybe next year lol

    • @DIRTRACELIFE
      @DIRTRACELIFE  Год назад

      They have a generic set of ten rules plus whatever your home track rules are. It was the same as at the big Whynot shows but Ill look and see if I can show where TST has them posted.

    I wish more tracks told drivers not to brake check at the start. Especially while leading.

    • @DIRTRACELIFE
      @DIRTRACELIFE  Год назад

      Yes, Every time every single race, I heard the director on the radio telling the drivers brake checking would not be tolerated, where the start box was, what to expect, etc.
      Some tracks I go to will tell you very loudly how they will DQ you for not having the Receiver on and then, maybe if you are lucky you might hear "Caution turn 2" come across the radio like 5 seconds and a straightaway after everyone has drove around it. It's a great tool if they will use it.

    Dude you have got to gef out of the mud. How many cars have to go by on the outside before you move up a little? Just a lane and you won't have to use the brakes so hard. You are pinching off all your speed. That will leave you a way to go around the wrecks on both sides. Patience for the first half and then race the second half. I logged many laps around that Hornet's Nest. Congratulations on making the A-Main. I'm just chewing on your ass a little.

    • @DIRTRACELIFE
      @DIRTRACELIFE  Год назад +1

      I hear ya, I set the car for that low lane, did make some driving adjustments late after the caution to help me find that tenth I needed but basically it boils down to this: I had a conservative plan to stay low in the brown, avoid getting drove under, and I se the car up to do that. Yes, I am MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE higher up.
      I believe I would have absolutely sucked trying to get off turn 4 because it had not rubbered up yet and the second I came up off the bottom the racer behind me would have moved up.
      Tonight, Yes I plan to set up to run in the black and I am very hopeful it will rubber up and be fast up there.

    Jason you really need to stop pointing your car at the first tire. It's killing your mid corner speed. Try to get the car rotated sooner roll in with the brakes, pump them if you need.. to manipulate entry angle.
