Leather half soles

- These budget welted shoes (Swedish brand Myrqvist) needed new soles and top lifts. We decided to keep the fibre heel blocks instead of replacing them with stacked leather, and rubber top lifts, to keep the price down.
I also refreshed the old mirror shine, but left a lot of the scuff marks and damages to the toes to not exceed the price of a new pair.

We used to use a product called "Bottom Finish." We painted the entire sole with it. Looked like a "full sole" repair and the customers loved it.

Great job - blending the half sole with the rest of the shoe was impressive but seemed to take a lot of work. Granted the heel block was not removed but is it that much cheaper to do a half sole?
About 50-80 euros cheaper. On cheap shoes we often do half soles.
