- Hey Frenzzz!
This was fun to film, because it allowed me to be intentional with my shopping, and going forward I will apply the same tactics. A few updates: I picked up the Laura Mercier foundation sample in “Ginger”, and it is a better match BUT the neutral, well I’m not sure about it yet. I also picked up Danessa’s blurring blush in “Jubilee”
and I’m happy to have chosen that over the Haus Labs blush in “Pomelo Peach”. The color is a perfect spring flush color!

The NARS exhibit A is an orange red, while watermelon bliss is a rich pink based almost fuschia red. Also pomelo peach, despite its dull real life appearance, builds up nicely and I’m two shades deeper than you (NC 45). Lastly, electric bloom is more of a rich coral for deeper skintones. I just swatched them and they are all different 😊 depends on personal preference.
Drat! I was convinced that Bellini from Danessa would be a better match than Pomelo Peach, but I could always pick it up in the next sale if I’m still thinking about it.

Even just swatched on your arm the bronze palette was literally made for you. It looks so lovely on your skin tone. I love these hauls of things that aren’t just new but actually interested you enough to buy it.

I love it! Friday I just got my package from Natasha Denona with my Love Face Palette and my first ND mini ever, the Bronze mini. After avoiding Sephora all winter, I finally broke the streak a week and a half ago when I picked up two Haus Labs blushes and a Danessa Myricks blush. This episode was made for me. @@aliciaarcher I purchased Açaí Sky and Watermelon Bliss in the Haus Labs, and Rose N Brunch in the Danessa Myricks. I wore Açaí Sky with the ND Love midi palette last Thursday and Rose N Brunch with the Ethereal Eyes Makeup by Mario palette yesterday. I will def be picking up two more shades of the Danessa Myricks for the Sephora sale, most likely Primadonna and Bellini. The Upsalite formula makes for a beautiful “cheek hugging” cream effect. I have dry sensitive skin, so I never tried her other products with Upsalite in them. They seem more for oily skin🤷🏾♀️
With the discontinuation of the Suqqu melting powder blushes, I would love to see you discuss either similar formulas and/or similar colors!

I definitely need to dig because the Suqqu melting blush formula is so unique 😮💨 I’d only Natasha Denona used her cream to powder eyeshadow formula for blush.

I own Exhibit A and Watermelon bliss and they are not the same and look different on the face.
Exhibit A gives a beautiful sun burnt look.
Watermelon bliss gives a red pink look that is lighter than a full on berry look and perfect for summer or fall.

Your videos make me happy. 😊 I haven't tried anything from Haus Labs yet. I have the PM blushes you showed in the comparisons, but that Hibiscus Haze is so pretty! I've seen mixed reviews on the LM foundation, but I've never seen a more perfect shade match. Congrats on that because it doesn't happen item.

That was a great match with your foundation. You’re the first person I’ve found with a review on it. I got a sample and tried it Saturday night; it was nice and held up for a few hours. I’ll have to give it another try though to see if I can get it to last longer in my tzone.
Maybe you can try powdering your t-zone first before applying the foundation? Sometimes I do that for reinforcement. Overall, I have been enjoying the texture, specifically how it glides and blends quickly.

I have to try the LM foundation. I have 2 Haus Labs blush shades that Hibiscus Haze and Açaí Sky. I love them both and I am also eyeing that watermelon bliss… I have that PMG labs shade you referred to in the video but I love those “windburned cheeks” lol I scratched both HL shades though… the powder is extremely soft!

Ok your skin looks stunning with the foundation . I do think this is your winter color. In summer you'd need to warm up the shade in some way or look ashen I think. Everything looks really good on you.

I have been considering on picking up one each of these blushes to try them out. I have so been enjoying the Suquu blushes…not sure what I will do when they run out!
I picked up Ginger as well, and although it does have a better coloring, I think I prefer the undertone from chestnut. And yes, I will be cherishing my melting powder blushes 😮💨
I don't buy many eyeshadows and only have 8 but had to get the mini bronze. Also, it's my intro to Natasha denona and love the eyeshadows! They last even without primer which is unheard of on my oily lids.
You just talked me out of 2 of the Haus Labs blushes because I do have the Pat ones.

I got samples of the LM Foundation in 4W1 Suntan" and the new Gucci Foundation in 310N. I'm enjoying both of them but l think I like the Gucci a little better. The Makeup Forever HD in 2N38 is also on my radar. Like you, I have so many foundations, I'm not feeling compelled to purchase either for now. Thanks for the review.

I recently tried the Hibiscus Haze and thought it looked more pink on me than the Lovestruck blush, which I just recently picked up. I have more of a med deep tan skin tone/warm undertone so I think Lovestruck looks better on me.
Yes, Lovestruck I think has a more prominent berry tone to it.

Killing time at Sephora never a good idea 😆. Last time I strolled in there while whiling away time, I bought some glossier products and a Danessa Myricks chrome paint. Did I need any of it? Especially with Rouge sake not that far off? Of course not 😆! Great vidgeo, girl!

Yes, years ago I had some weird freak out about toxicity (totally unsubstantiated) in eye primer and hunted down a concealer which claimed to also be eye cream or something Glossier sold. I still have it and while I don’t know how true to eyelid skincare claim is, it’s a nice product. I forgot all about them until I started watching this MUA and what she said about these two “red” lip products made me want them. I’m usually a blood red Dracula’s girl vampy lip type but these looked so interesting based on her claim I picked them up at Sephora. They are indeed lovely and as she says, faux reds:

Funny you should mention Sephora…was just there today. I’m trying the Dior matte foundation. I really wish it didn’t have spf in it. I’ll just have to wait and see if it breaks me out.

I love the acai sky shade of blush but I'm very fair. I am not certain I could pull it off.
From my experience with Hibiscus Haze, the consistency is buildable. You can control the intensity, where the first dose won’t be overwhelming.
What foundation brush are you using?
Danessas blush is so much better than Gaga’s. I was so excited but hated the feel and dry matte texture. I returned them the next day😢

Sephora probably thinks I died. 🤔 I have not been buying anything. Not for any specific reason. They haven't had anything that I want.
I picked up the rosemary scalp treatment you told me about. It felt amazing. My scalp feels so refreshed! It's still a little itchy, but I think that might be a nervous habit now. 😬 Maybe after a few treatments, I will break the habit.
Do you do a deep conditioning once a week?

I just don’t get skincare in makeup.I put skincare sunscreen and primer under my makeup. No skincare in my makeup is going to penetrate my skin advertising gimmick and reason for manufacturers to charge more
Agreed 🤷🏽♀️ Although I do understand that some “skincare” ingredients might have a positive impact on the foundation’s consistency, but I would still rely on my routine for any benefits.
