hello can you zoom and take photo/video directly with the crane M with a cable connecting the gx80 to the crane M ?

I was using a prime lens, so there was no way to zoom in and out. I also have a Sony RX100 mk IV and I was able to zoom in/out when I connected a cable to the gimbal.
