This entire game 6 was a baseball masterpiece. Soler huge bomb. Freddie got one well deserved dinger. Swanson played the game of his life. Fried was a beast on the hill dominant. Purely beautifully played baseball by the Braves.

The best part to me was the turn to the Braves' dugout as soon as he hit it. Even though this was the home run of his life-and a rare chance at an out-of-the-stadium blast--he didn't wait to see where it landed. Instead, he turned to share the moment with his teammates. I can't read lips, but in my head he said something like "Lo hacemos, chicos. VAMOS." ("We got this, boys. LET'S GO.")
Anyone who says baseball isn't *really* a team sport (which included me up until I saw these Braves) just needs to watch this video and this team.

Dusty's a great coach. The clutch hitting from the Braves really shocked me, especially after they pissed away the grandslam in the prior game, with some of the most horrendous pitching I've seen in a game for the home fans, hoping to seal the deal. I'm a Braves fan, glad they finally won (in full length season)--but relative to how the world is going down the toilet, I just don't care about any of it as much as I used to. There's more to life than this stuff. Great seasons by both teams, and at least Houston knows that Fried was just awesome, the hitting was clutch, the Astros didn't choke it away.
