THRW Tony. Hit that leather cover with mink oil, it will soften up and stretch a bit. Then snap it on and leave it a few days, hit it again with the mink oil and it should be fine, Bonus, the leather will be waterproof too 👍🇺🇸 Rick

Tongs looked ok never been a fan of finger grooves as they either fit your hand or they dont and generally the later for me be it knives pistol grips etc, THRW👍

I LOVE TOOLS. One of my favorite manual tools ever is called a Burka Bar. They are now sold under the name Marshalltown. Such a back saving tool. Some Lowe's sell them. Please give them a look and if you do, please give me a shout...im Cody from Minneapolis. Thank you for what you do. God bless!

John my focus is on US manufactured products , unfortunately there aren’t many out there. If you follow my channel I’ve reviewed most of the US log tong companies like Pinch-a-Log or LogOx . The most popular ax out there is Fiskars a Finnish company. So as you can see it’s tough reviewing only US products.

Can you messure the length of the handle to to the tip i have a pair that open wide but the are long hard to lift to top layer of rounds
If I open the tongs all the way and measure from tip to the front handle it’s 13-1/2” to 14”. 👍TCT
