I was looking for the perfect soap to make with violet essential oil and Iv found it! this is just stunning! thank you for being so generous with your designs.
Love your video's and your soaps are amazing. Learned a new technique in swirling. It has to be one of the hardest things to learn in soap making. Question, why do you cover the measuring cups with saran wrap? I'm so excited to try out your technique today!! Thank you...Kim
I mix the colors with glycerin, yes. I recommend you don’t store them for long periods, but up to a month should be ok as long as you use a clean spoon each time you use it.
Try and keep your soap around 120*. I start out melting it all down in a big Pyrex. Then, once I separate it, I cover each color with Saran Wrap until I’m ready to use it. You may have to reheat between layers. If I have to reheat I do it 5 seconds at a time in the microwave and I do it right after the last pour to give it time to cool in case I overheat it. If you overheat your soap, it can make a nice effect, but usually it just melts through the last layer and sinks down and mixes with the last color. When I say reheat, I mean the soap you still have to pour. Not the soap in the mold. Once that is in, its in.
Let me know how it goes. Are you using the swirl MP from Wholesale Supplies Plus? This technique works with all other MP soaps. I have not tested the Swirl blend.
Stunning!!! Thank you SOOO very much!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜

Hello Kim! I cover them so a skin doesn’t form on the remaining soap. Thank you for the feedback.
@@OakleafandOcotillo ahhh....thank you...
Nice video girl!
Thanks Rolling Bear!

Beautiful. Can I ask what you mix your colors with? Glycerin? You premix them before video or you store them like that?
I mix the colors with glycerin, yes. I recommend you don’t store them for long periods, but up to a month should be ok as long as you use a clean spoon each time you use it.
What temperature do you pour the soap? Do you heat them all up at once? I tried this technique and mine didn’t come out like this😭

Oakleaf and Ocotillo yes I’m using the melt and pour from WSP. I’ve been trying the drop swirl technique but it never works
