Hi. Checking out your RUclips channel for the first time. You were recommended by Lisa at And Sew On. I'm glad I'm not the only one who holds on to fabric until the right pattern is found. Thanks for walking us through the pocket. Can't wait to see the finished coat.

Karla, Yes, patience pays off! The right pattern will come along some day, lol. Love to see your Rumana Coat too! I finished the coat last week and cover the most challenging aspect of the coat-the lapel, that was an adventure : ). Good health and good cheer!

Hi, Lisa from And Sew On sent us to check out your channel, I love the detail you've gone to in explaining your techniques! I also love your choice of pocket lining and bias tape, so cute and unexpected! I've subscribed and can't wait to see your finished duster!

I’ve recently started dyeing deep stash fabrics to colors more suitable to me. All those white, blush, ivory, and tan fabrics are getting a new life in olive green, navy, plum, or fuchsia. Now I’m excited to use all those aging fabrics. Using fiber reactive procion dyes for permanent colors.

Great idea! I recently was thinking about dying fabric as well. It is a great way to get the colors you want. The extra work pays off in big ways.
