I grew up on the water, Ludington, Mi. Right on Lake Michigan. There are really only 2 "no no's" in boating
1.). Never operate under the influence.
    2.). KNOW YOUR SURROUNDINGS.
--> If you're intoxicated at sea. Shut down, radio for coast guard, or, secure the boat, drop anchor, batten down the hatches. Wait it out.
---->If you are unsure of your surroundings, radio in, provide coordinates and ask for coast guard directions, obstacles, etc, or wait to be escorted in.
If you find yourself in both situations -> radio in get help.
Don't get me wrong, I'm deeply saddened by this accident. The worse thing is the fact that this was completely AVOIDABLE. 93% Of ALL boating accidents is are driver/captain related.
It sucks, I'm deeply saddened, and it hurts me to say this, he should be charged with 2rd Degree Manslaughter. Which means was not intentional, but he was at fault and was avoidable. 1st degree would mean he meant to do bodily harm but not intending to cause death. 3rd degree would mean no harm was meant, and he was not at fault for causing the death.
He should be arraigned and charged for 2nd degree manslaughter. Did not mean to cause bodily harm, but, because of the alcohol and cocaine, his actions DID lead to the death of 2 men. In this case, since they're all deceased, no CRIMINAL CHARGES can be brought, however, in a civil case the families ARE 100% entitled to financial compensation/pain and suffering.

There are thousands of dui deaths in this country every year. He made a mistake that cost him his friends and his own life.
