one of the most uplifting songs that was ever created. I was driving to work, it was 80s, I just got a brand new jacket and this song went on the radio. I was the happiest I could ever be, not to mention the video that they had with this on MTV. This is truly a fantastic song that brings back amazing memories.

I agree. I was just entering middle school when the Beatles put out their first record. The music just kept getting better and better with more and more bands creating great music. It was like a big explosion. We spent our weekends going to teen clubs and dancing. We had so much fun and there was no alcohol or drugs involved. Dancing and music was all we needed.

I'm from 2003 and the first time I heard take on me I was between 8 and 9 years old, today I'm 20 and it's still one of my favorite songs, I'm a die-hard fan.

The energy Morten displayed back in those days, guided me through my dark youth and inspired me the strengh i had not.
Morten became my idol, just like a far away unknown brother.
Now i am 51, i still hope someday i will share some guitar and singing with him. i compose.
i thank them cause without knowing me, they always have been by my side, through all the days i lived.
And the strongest souvenir i have, is discovering the 2nd album, on tape, in my parents car, where i ran back with the tape, while they were shopping. That time i understood a-ha was not only one album, but, a LEGEND.

That’s how things were done back in the 80s. I suppose the sound quality was not good and it was a rare thing to have the bands sing live in a tv studio. It was a way to see them while listening to the recorded song.

I have so many cousins that I have never met. It is amazing how one generation can create an amazing number of people.

Unplugged guitar and keyboards , singing and signing autographs at the same time sort of give that away. lol Anyways, the 80's was my era in the dance clubs. And it was FUN. Met so many great friends back then that i lost touch with over the last 30-40 years. I hope they all went on to great lives ! :)
