@@Don_Pollo_Hacker no the A520 is actually meant for the Ryzen 5000 series, specifically the 5600G and 5700G. you can't use Ryzen 3000 series 3200G and 3400G, but in order to use the 5600G you have to flash the bios and download the driver from the motherboards website whatever board your using. it's 5000 ready, but in order for the board to recognize the 5600G you have to update the bios. there all like that, since there's 5 generations of Ryzen, it's alot for board partners to keep up with, but that's why they put a bios flash button. all A520 boards have it, but the one's that are most compatible is the 5600G and 5700G, it's possible the 4600G might work to, im not sure, but i do know the 5600G does because that's what my cousin is using. the 5600G is part of Zen 3, but the Redeon Vega graphics are PCie gen 3, so you need a board to take advantage of the APU. the only downside is it won't work best with a PCie 4.0 gen 4 graphics card like the Radeon RX 6500 XT or Nvidia RTX 3050, or any modern Nvidia or Radeon card. not that you couldn't use one, but the 5600G only runs at gen 3 speeds, so if you get a gen 4 graphics card it will limit performance. unlike Intel's much smaller igpu, AMD designed there APU's specifically for gaming without a graphics card. my cousin is using the Radeon RX 570, that will actually work because it's a gen 3 card and they'll combine together. previously my Cousin had the Ryzen 3 2400, but it was getting old and he needed a new CPU. he originally wanted to upgrade his whole PC even though he didn't really have the money to do that, but after i told him about the 5600G, i said you could use your B450 motherboard since it's PCie 3.0 gen 3. all you'd have to do is update the bios, so that's what he did, and that old RX 570 has new life thanks the 5600G's Vega graphics. so games he could barely before, now can play some at 1080p medium settings. he only plays eSports games though, but that saved him from having to upgrade. if you could find the Radeon RX 5500 XT or the 5600 XT which came after, you might be able to use them since they are gen 3 cards.
