Hello, interesting video ! I have a question. It might sound dumb, but would a ryzen 7 5700x3d surely be compatible with the motherboard out of the box ?
I nearly went with an A520 board but changed my mind when I looked at the lack of ARGB support, eventually went with an Asrock B550m Pro 4 for a build I'll eventually get around to doing. At the moment I've got parts here in Vietnam and parts in two different places in Melbourne
I want to pair this board with an ryzen 5 5500 and an rx 580 that I got from a friend. In the future, I might upgrade the gpu to a 6650xt. Will this motherboard work well with that combo? And can I install argb fans on it? Nice video, new sub also.
This motherboard will be fine for that combo, the only issue is that the board has no ARGB header so if you are using ARGB fans then you need to purchase an additional ARGB hub to connect them too rather then using the motherboard
Mate how much fps i5 6400t will give in Genshin Impact and gta5 I'm planning to buy this setup next month but there is literally 6,7 years old benchmark video I didn't know how it performs nowadays?
Yes this motherboard should be fine for that setup but there is no ARGB header on this motherboard so you will need a ARGB fan hub to connect your fans too and you will not get motherboard software support for changing the fan colours
Yes with more powerful processors the vrms will get very hot, I would recommend only using upto Ryzen 7 5700x at most with this motherboard and ideally running a tower cooler on the CPU too
Yes it will work with Ryzen 5 5500 and GTX 1050 TI. It has one m.2 slot which can fit one NVME SSD that I mentioned in the video, it also has 4 SATA ports for upto 4 regular 2.5 inch SSDs
If you’re getting the RTX 3060 then I would recommend the Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x over the 5600g as they are both better processors for not much more then the 5609g and you will get PCIe gen 4 support rather then gen 3 support too
bro can i put a rtx 4060 on this motherboard and i want to put a kingston ssd 1tb nvme m.2 pci 4.0 and a kingston eight gb 3200mhz cl16 dimm should that work?
Yeah it will all work just be aware this motherboard only supports m.2 pci gen 3 so buying a gen 4 drive is a waste of money as you will only get gen 3 speeds from the m.2 drive

Yeah it’s a decent budget AM4 board which is enough for PC flips
it gets the job done pretty good when paired with 5600gt also comes with good thermal sensor

Yeah that’s a very good choice of motherboard, I’ve never had any issue with AsRock boards before

You can put a PCIe Wi-Fi card in the first slot of the motherboard, the second slot is for the graphics card

Depends what graphics card you have really that’s always going to be the biggest impact to frame rate

Unfortunately no it doesn’t but you can buy a very cheap USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapter for it for around £5-£10

Yeah the RAM will work fine but I would go with 16GB as 8GB is a bit too low for modern games these days
