These still doesn’t seem attractive. Firstly they need to fix the bureaucrat system. Secondly they need to fix the nightmare tax.

Well, beaucracy is partially stoneage in Germeany, but taxes are not too bad and allow for a lot of exceptions. German tax laws are some of the most complicated ones in the world.

Hey Oliver, your content is amazing!
About Germany I opened a small business in Berlin this year, it took me about 2-3 months. They said that it is online, online for them means by letter 😂
It is a lot of stupid bureaucracies, I don’t know if I will continue doing business here. I’m putting everything in a balance. 😅

Berlin is particularly bad. They did not even managed to get the voting done correctly 🤦🏻‍♂️

These people will kill your energy and creativity. The bureaucrats are ridiculous. You need more than 6months to get a permit for residence. What a nightmare.

Hello Oliver. Thanks for the updates. I think bureaucracy is still the killer of entrepreneurs. I hope one day they understand that but it could be the reason for to collapse of the system too. Also, it is not a good season to startup in Germany due to the energy crisis, or maybe an opportunity who knows.

Now is the time for disrupting the German market. If you can provide alternative energy great time to be in Germany. But bureaucracy is still a major issue in the country. Imagine they used XL sheets to communicate Covid cases among their different departments. How sick is this?

@@AskMeStartUp I think the problem is with manufacturing there are a lot of companies promising hydrogen as an alternative energy source. However, the majority of the chemical industry still depends on Russian gas. They are trying to find a solution like LNG or more coal consumption as an alternative that is not climate-friendly. I have a plan right now. But after that update, Germany could rank higher on my list. Thank you.

The bureaucrats are the worst thing in Germany. They are a nightmare to foreigners and will leave you living in anxiety and confusion and honestly it’s not worth it.

I too am highly hesitant due to the bureaucratic hurdles / red tape that I hear from everyone in Germany.
