ESP Guitars: Reba Meyers (Code Orange) Demos the LTD RM-600

- Reba Meyers, guitarist and vocalist for the Grammy-nominated hardcore/metalcore band Code Orange, demonstrates her LTD Signature Series RM-600 guitar. The RM-600 is based on the asymmetrical double-cutaway ESP Viper shape, and features neck-thru-body construction, a mahogany body in a new Black Marble Satin finish, a 3-piece maple neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard, a reverse headstock based on the LTD M Series with special orange LTD logo, a single EMG 81 pickup (also with custom orange logo), and an EMG TKO kill switch. Code Orange's new album Underneath comes out March 13.

We had one of these at our music store for a few months. I honestly didn’t care for it. Extremely chunky. Literally played like a brick. Sounded awesome, but that was about it. I was disappointed to say the least

Haven't seen much hate against Code Orange but they are an acquired taste in the hardcore and metalcore scene. Plus whenever bands get bigger they get more hate it is only natural.
I dont see any hate for them. Quite the opposite actually. If anything people are overly complimentary of them.

Já perceberam como a Reba se move no palco? Ela me lembra muito Philip Anselmo enquanto está no palco. Diferente dele, a Reba soa uma pessoa sensata. Sobre o estilo dela de tocar, cara, é algo muito agressivo. E a voz dela? O fato dela ser mulher, traz um tom diferente para os sons, um pouco mais agudo e menos metalizado, mas a diferença é que Reba tem técnica para cantar e não somente grita (embora muitas pessoas menos atentas só percebam "grito"). Na minha visão pessoal, hoje, Reba é o músico que mais prende minha atenção nas apresentações ao vivo.

I don’t listen Code Orange stuff but this guitar is on my wishlist cause of the looks ).
Too bad it’s expensive in Russia(as always)). If I buy female(!) LTD(!) for that money that’d be crazy (no one gonna buy it from me later)).
Btw, seen no reviews of this guitar, besides several Reba’s promos. It would be nice to check it out on more classic metal/rock with less amount of dissonant intervals.
Code Orange fans, does any of you know if Reba has family ties with the famous computer scientist/C++ expert Scott Meyers? She is very similar to him in appearance. Her eyes, nose shape, hair texture and hair color are one to one like his. It looks like she is his daughter or niece. If this is true, then I will be very happy as a programmer and metalhead!

Very cool guitar. Positioning of the killswitch seems to be an issue though. Feels like she naturally wants it a lot closer to her playing position.

The EMG font is in gold, not orange.

I keep trying, but i can't find any reason why this one retails at 2.5K. Nice guitar, but the price is absolutely ridiculous and unjustified. ESP are a bunch of fucking thieves. And the kill switch is a dumb idea. How many people actually need this?! Basically, you're paying for a custom shop guitar that was made for someone else. Take a look at what you can get for 2.5K and come back to me..

What country do you live in where its 2.5 thousand? The guitar retails for around 1000 and I've seen them used for 700 to 900.
