the Mitsubishi remote programming module in the XTool / AutoProPad doesn't close out the sequence in a way the car understands. Cycling the ignition, like you did, will end the sequence and finish it. I think the G-Scan tools etc do send a finalisation signal, but it's fine to just cycle the keys afterwards.
@@JarethGarza gotcha! I asked this question last night before I went to work today and figured out the new scanner in our shop can do A LOT! Including the keyless/FOB/Immobilizer options. I even got my TPMS light to go off using it. Next up I’ll try the chip key and fob when they get here 👍🏽

Do you HAVE to use an auto pro pad? Or can I use any scanner that can read and access the immobilizer and key fob screen ?
Several programmers are capable. Usually cheap ones suck with mits
