How lovely to just 'pop over' to Portugal! I'm from Hobart, Australia. It takes us 6.5 hours from where I live at the bottom of the country to fly north to the top of the country. Living in Europe/UK must be wonderful. I have travelled extensively overseas, but am envious at how close you are to so much delightful culture and history!
I hear you, we recently moved from WA to the NW of Tasmania, as much as I love Tassie I do miss travelling and exploring Europe, we lack this ability to pop anywhere exotic for a weekend
I'm from Montreal. I'm in Lisbon for a month and i love this city! It's a city to get in shape with all those stairs and nice places to run! Love your video!
You guys make me miss Lisbon so much 😩 That was my city before I moved to the UK more than a decade ago. There definitely weren’t that many vegan options back then, so it’s great to know it’s improved!
This makes me miss Lisbon so badly! Such a wonderful city. A friend of mine used to live there and it was great visiting her. I can't wait to go back and try all the new vegan places. 😄
So good to know! We want to do a couple month euro trip with our sons next year and I’m scared about which countries won’t be accommodating to us as vegans 👀 research time!
@Aspasia it changed tremendously in the past 5 years precisely :-) from 2-3 solid places with vegan food, you now have about 20 fully vegan restaurants and many vegetarian or veg friendly! Also the best vegan doughnuts in the world
as we sip tea this morning in the sun, and watch this lovely vid, I turned to my mate and said, THIS year when we head out on our adventures this is what we shall focus on for food options. I hate being cooped up in a restaurant too, so yup this is a whole new idea for us..........Thanks for sharing we loved it.....
Ah Lisbon, fantastic city! I've been there many times as I used to live in Porto but in 2019 we visited with our 3 teenage kids and stayed right beside the LX Factory which was really cool with great places to eat. We loved the Time Out restaurant market in the centre. Your vegan food looked delicious.
Granada Espana, lads! A growing vegan food scene here but also close to the Sierra Nevada mountains, an hour from the Med. & drenched in gorgeous architecture including the Alhambra palace. Come come!
Wow!! Lovely to see you in such a familiar place, I walk past that fruit market everyday on my way to work :) hope you had/are having a wonderful time!
@@nea4463 - Portugal it’s a very small country, so you can visit it all from North to South. Porto, Lisboa and the Algarve are the most famous places to stop by. However, If you have time and some spare money, don’t miss the islands. Madeira island and the Azores islands.
If you can you should definitely visit Berlin :) the variety of vegan places here is insane, there is even an all vegan supermarket, they have everything you can imagine and more 😍 loved the video! Lisbon is such a nice city
Wow, Nice to see Lisbon again. Wasn't vegan when I went there, but now have to go again. The markets are so so great and art suplies affordable too. Please visit Copenhagen next time 😊
Love seeing you on a field trip. It looks like so much fun. I wonder is it difficult to find food you like when you're so good and making it? Not a problem I have... 🤣
