There are so many YT soapers. Most of them I admire quite a bit and enjoy their videos. But it's almost like there's just something extra special about you. I wish I could meet you in person. Cause I just feel like you're pretty amazing of a person. You're not just good at what you do. You are generous the way you offer these instructions to others. I hope that you get these blessings back in your own life ten fold.
Agreed, there certainly is a revival of traditional craftsmanship over industrial made products.Let's start our own movement! You lead and I will follow :)
I'm pretty sure I don't have the strength needed for this one, but if you made a batch every day you'd have the most incredibly toned arms !! Always fun to see how something's made, thanks for making this video for us, Catherine. xx
Thanks for sharing this method for cream soap...the end product looks great but right now I am knee deep in soaping so I will save this as a favorite and refer to it later (during the winter) when I have some time to try it out.
Very nice! Now could this be used as the base for a foaming sugar scrub or salt scrub? Will you be doing those and maybe bath bombs? thanks so much! :)
I'm here too Teach (got the same Tram as Phil, but he didn't see me) Fantastic tutorial but I know my limits and I think I will keep this one on the back burner for a future date - once I have mastered the CP soap making - I did tell you Teach, that I am the novice at soap making in your class and for that reason I think you should give me one to one tuition or do you think I should be relocated to the remedial class? Please say that you will endeavor to try to educate me in soap making. x
Do you just sell it in a bucket and have the consumer dig out however much they need or do you put it in a bottle or mold the stuff? how do you package that stuff?
Hi again! Getting ready to make this and I see that you do not include the glycerine in the oil phase but list the amount. I do put the 4.75 oz in at the oil phase right and the .5in at the super fat phase? Thanks! :)
This would explain how Phil got pushed off... he does not pay attention to the other passengers on the tram :) Sometimes my tutorial are too advanced for some or too basic for others but we are all learning together. And that is the funniest part!
hiya! I made this recipe and followed it to a T! its been rotting for 2 weeks and ive mixed and even tried to whip a small amount to see what happens. Everytime i let it rot again after mixing, it goes liquid. It will not stay cream or fluffy or whipped no matter what. ive checked my process, recipe and even consulted the cream soap yahoo group to no avail. what could be the issue? or is it supposed to stay a thick liquid after the rot??
I enjoyed your video. I have a couple of questions regarding making cream soap. I am interested in learning to use and make cream soap. Anyway...here is the questions. What is the purpose of the steric acid and glycerin in making cream soap? Also why preservative? Is it needed, you don't need it in regular bar soap? I thought you only need it if water is added.
Hi, can you make a whipped cream soap with scrub tutorial? and if i want to customize it with my own scents, own colors, own essential oils/extracts & butters & preservatives to last as long as a year, can you give tips in how to adjust the recipe? thanks!
Yeah, let's see those Popeye arms! I was hand stirring some titanium dioxide the other day and thought my arms would fall off at the shoulder. I'm a ???lb. weakling!

Don't you just love how the cream soap feels, pure luxury :)

Thank you for taking the mystique out of cream soap. That's my project for the summer. Thank God for people like you!
Amazing! Soap making really can be a very fine and delicate process. You are artisans in your own right.
Love it. I absolutely love making cream soap. Rot time is a killer for an impatient person like me, but the result is worth it.

Questions? Did you cool the oils and the lyes before blending? Does the crock remain on high throughout the process?
Thank you so much for your generosity to share your tutorial!
Wow, that; s a lot of work and time needed for this kind of soap. It looks so smooth and beautiful.
Maybe some day you will find the time. It would be great for the winter!
Terribly sorry for being so so late! But hey, I'm here now!
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching!
Wow, that seems like quite a process
It does take a lot of time but the end result is perfect.

Absolutely, I was close to tears. You are very kind!
If a 100 lb weakling like me can do it, anyone can. I'll be sure to post a picture of my Popeye arms :)

This recipe calls for both Sodium and Potassium Hydroxide? Wow. I have never heard of that before. That is very cool.
Absolutely!

At what point would it be best to add fragrance and colorants if that is desired? Thank you!
Just doing my best to make you all happy :)
