Thank you for this video! Because of you I just made my first batch of whipped soap! I'm a new soaker so I was nervous, but I think it turned out good. I found a bowl mixer similar to yours but smaller for $30.00 at Walmart and it worked great (in case anyone is interested in one and doesn't want to spend a lot on it).
I keep finding myself coming back to this one video and watching it. I just love love love it ❤️. I want to try it real soon, making a fluffy bar that is.
That was really cool. I am always on the look out for different things to try and this takes it. Thank you for posting. I can hardly wait to try it for myself.
Very pretty but and I love that idea off whipped soup I never seen that b4💕 I wish you showed us how you cut ur whipped soup with your wire cutter though
Love this! How do the final bars perform, i.e. lather, cleansing, long lasting, hard/soft feel? Thank you so much! I might buy some, depending on your answers.
Hi Sarah!!! Loved the tutorial, thanks for sharing the technique and the recipe... unfortunately my end result was catastrophic! My fragrance accelerated and my soap ceased... urhhhh!!!! Had to be rescued with hp!!! I will be trying again with a safer fragrance or essential oil!!! Thank you!!!!
thanks so much for this great exposie but my observation is that my soap got melt as fast not expected. please, I will like to know what could be responsible for it?.
Wow ~ how impressive! You make it look so easy, but I bet there is a real knack to it. This soap reminds me of divinity candy. Many of your soaps look so yummy they make me hungry, LOL! Thanks for sharing, Sarah. :) ione eve
Hi Sarah, I absolutely love this video!! It's been extremely helpful and inspiring to me. Can I use Red Palm Oil or not, I made an error and ordered a lot of red palm oil online instead of the white refined one. Please let me know. Help! Thanks. :-)
I don't know for sure about using it for whipped soap, but that's what I plan on using myself, because I love red palm oil in soaping. I makes a nice hard bar of soap, so I would think it would work fine. It's worth a try.
Hello dear, just found this video and am looking forward to trying my hand at whipped soap. Will 10% SF work with this recipe? Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and talent with all of us. God Bless
Sarah, How can I keep this in the "whipped" consistency? I dont want to make soap bars, instead add some clay, pumice and degreaser for a "mechanics" soap. i want to use the whipped texture as a base for the mechanics soap. Will it harden no matter what?
Sarah, thank you this tutorial! 1. Can this soap be used for frosting a soap cake? I am wanting to make one soon. 2. Is that Kitchenaid mixer dedicated just for soaping? I wasn't sure if you can use it for food and soap too. Thank you!!
Paula Timmons it’s the air. Same as hard candy goes from amber to white when it’s pulled, or when you cream butter and sugar till pale when baking, whipping(or pulling in the case of candy) is to incorporate air into a mixture. All those tiny air bubbles then deflect light, making the mixture look white.
Hi Sarah. Where can I get the bended metal thing what you use for making the soap nice in the middle? I have no clue about the name so I can't find it anywhere. Thanks :)
Did you do a water discount by chance? And what percentage did you do your SF for? I’ve tried other whipped soap recipes before and this one looks the best to me. Going to try a 20% water discount and a higher SF of 10% and see how that works.
Ok so this isn't necessarily about the soap but moreso the part before you add the lye. Just the hard oils whipped that looks so creamy would that be like a whipped body butter persay.....
Kathryn Gutierrez I keep my stand mixer completely separate from my food prep items, but I've seen people use a hand mixer (again, make it only for use with soap), no problem... if you'd like to try that route. It's definitely cheaper and easier than buying a new bowl and attachments (and keeps things completely separated from food prep items)... PLUS, a hand mixer makes it easier to reach the sides and bottom. I have to stop my stand mixer multiple times and scrape, scrape, scrape the sides and bottom to ensure that EVERYTHING got mixed in. Otherwise, you'll have pockets of oil that never saponify. Eep!
This video is great, but like making a cake..it would be hard not to run your finger through it for a taste.....lol...I can't believe soap can look so tasty!!
OMG - I started listening to this and thought you were drunk and slurring your words Then I realized I had the video speed turned down from a previous video - lol Oops
+Radar Luv If you pause the video at 1:15, you'll see the recipe. In soap making, the percentages refer to the base oils. It does add up to 100% (base oils), and you can customize your superfat by running through a lye calculator which will give you your lye and water amounts.

Whipped Soap looks like it's really fun to make you make it look so easy even though it's a lots of learning process
It's so Gorgeous look. And it's very important how you explain everything! In a professional sudding Voice.👌👌👌 Thank You for sharing.💛
the first half (before the lye) is exactly how I make my whipped body butters
Thank you for sharing..your method seems sooo easy, will give it a bash..your soap looks beautiful
I keep finding myself coming back to this one video and watching it. I just love love love it ❤️. I want to try it real soon, making a fluffy bar that is.
it's weird how tasty it looks
Lol! I often think that as well. :-D
Beautiful :) I added it to my “beautiful soap” playlist!!
That was really cool. I am always on the look out for different things to try and this takes it. Thank you for posting. I can hardly wait to try it for myself.
How much Lye And Water did you use with this recipe? Love your soaps they are so beautiful
What are benefits of making whipped soap vs cold process? Does it last longer? Etc?
Thank you so much for sharing, I am going to try this over the weekend. I love your videos and again thank you for sharing.

Perfect! I was just looking for a video on this.
Thank you for the video. Is it the same curing time for the whipped soap because of the lye.
Glorious!!!
Tysvm for this video. This one was much easier to follow. Great job!

great video, do the fragrances ever misbehave in whipped soap? like can you use a fragrance that is known to rice without it causing problems?
Wow ~ how impressive! You make it look so easy, but I bet there is a real knack to it. This soap reminds me of divinity candy. Many of your soaps look so yummy they make me hungry, LOL! Thanks for sharing, Sarah. :) ione eve

Nicely done and explained.
Would it be possible to not add the lye mixture and use the whipped soap as frosting for cupcake bath bombs?
Hello dear, just found this video and am looking forward to trying my hand at whipped soap. Will 10% SF work with this recipe? Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and talent with all of us. God Bless
Thank you so much for sharing! Is it still considered whipped soap if done after everything is mixed normally for cp or hp ?
how long from liquid oils to pour dose it take to make a batch of this beautiful soap?

Does it get soft when it comes in contact with water or is it like a regular bar of soap?
it stays hard like the other soaps and it floats and that is the best thing.
Great video :) Very well detailed :) Thank you for sharing :)
Curious, I thought that soaping is to be done in non culinary vessels? Do you use your mixer bowl for food as well?
Wonderful tutorial!
May I ask how long does the soap stay 'whipped' if we're going to pipe on a fresh cp batch?
Sarah, thank you this tutorial!
1. Can this soap be used for frosting a soap cake? I am wanting to make one soon.
2. Is that Kitchenaid mixer dedicated just for soaping? I wasn't sure if you can use it for food and soap too.
Thank you!!
Hi. How hard is whipped soap and how long do bars last? Is lather the same? Thx
May I ask what is the difference in the soap by doing this method?
Thank you ☺
I'm guessing it fills molds up faster by weight, have you noticed if it makes the soap twice as big? Or a third bigger? Thanks!!
I wonder if this method will work for cream soap, too.
Does it make a difference in the cure time?
How long does whipped soap take to cure? It's interesting and I'm just curious
Why would the fragrance oil seem to be seeping from my bars? Did I not blend enough?
Thanks for the great video. The hard oils looked like they turned white after whipping. Did you add color ( may have missed that part) ??

Can I ask the name of that beautiful pink colorant you used?
Can I use a stick blender for this with the whisk attachment
Lovely
how long did it take for your soap to completely harden. i seen whipped soap take forever
Nice video.
How long does it take to cure
Can you use glycerin soap or has to be this recipe?
I don't believe you can make whipped soap using glycerin soap ... it's a cold process technique.
Hi can I used a hand mixer?
So delicate*
Hi Sarah. Where can I get the bended metal thing what you use for making the soap nice in the middle? I have no clue about the name so I can't find it anywhere. Thanks :)
Heni Szabó it’s a piece of wire....some people cover the wire with plastic tubing to increase the diameter.
Did you do a water discount by chance? And what percentage did you do your SF for? I’ve tried other whipped soap recipes before and this one looks the best to me. Going to try a 20% water discount and a higher SF of 10% and see how that works.
You said you would provide the recipe, but I’m not finding it.

You don't have to buy a new stand mixer do you? You can just buy another bowl and attachments right?

Yea its not a big deal as long as your actually stand is clean Kathryn Gutierrez
Can I use this for cupcake soaps
Nicole Y. Kim it works great for the piping
I wasn't sure, but I added my FO to the liquid oils. I didn't hear you say in the video. fingers crossed.
Thanks!!
Roberta Bissonnette You are so welcome! Have fun soaping it up! :)
can u use the soap right after making it
These soaps should be cured for 4-6 weeks before use.
What is the super fat for this soap?
Can I also use this whipped soap to pipe on top of CP soap?
Angela Dellutri Absolutely! I recommend using a freshly-made CP soap batch and spritz the top with 91% rubbing alcohol first. :) Have fun soaping!
Angela Dellutri yes its perfect for piping
Shalom I want to try your recipe, but I can NOT use Lard... Shall I do? Can I use something Else? :-(
use another hard oil , such as cocoa butter
❤❤❤
Hello sarah,it looks beautiful but it would be really kind of you to help woth rhe measurements😊
This video is great, but like making a cake..it would be hard not to run your finger through it for a taste.....lol...I can't believe soap can look so tasty!!
OMG - I started listening to this and thought you were drunk and slurring your words
Then I realized I had the video speed turned down from a previous video - lol
Oops
Thank you for the video...btw
Never drink and soap people ;)
I am seriously cracking up right now! 😂😂😂
Made whipped soap at night and in the morning my soap was cracked :( I did use another recipe. Anyone knows why that happens?
Cracking usually happens from overheating, especially if you add any form of sugar such as honey.
So pretty
was that a soaping 101 spatula I see? :)
what si the measurement for the lye?
I read your other post and since you are replacing the lard, you need to run the recipe through a soap calculator
is,there a,way to get an actual recipe also what can I use in place of lard
Hello! I post the recipe I used in this video at 1:15. Have a wonderful weekend! -Sarah
so does it end at Jojoba oil
also what can I sub for lard
Oh my, I should have read the other comments and questions first. You answered the same questions already! Sorry!
why do you use lye.. ? always wondered
+Aja Jenkins you can't make cold process soap without it
+Anna Zheng the ingredients list doesn't give the amount of lye. Perhaps I need to rewatch, but did you catch it?
Because soap is the product of the chemical reaction between lye and triglycerides.
i want to eat that soap.
the recipe doesn't add up to 100%. I don't see lye in the recipe either. What am I missing except for brains, of course?
