OKAY! So I’m half way through your video and I actually wanna give you a hug rn. 🥺 I agree with everything you said so far but one thing I’ll say is that once you start to put your self worth into something you can do you have turned that thing into a idol…. Which God tells us not to do because now we’re now depended on us instead of him. Whenever I feel my self falling into that feeling of “my self worth is my art” I remind myself of who God says I am. Because at times we can be our biggest bully and or enemy. Or just feed into the lies of the enemy. And only Gods opinion about us matters. Art brings joy YES and gives us that amazing fuzzy feeling inside but there’s a hole only God can fill and when we trying to replace him with Art, video games and just things of this world we can fall into a deep hole of searching searching for something only God can fill. Idk where you are with Christ but i just wanted to share this with you Kay because I think you’re totally awesome and I totally feel for what you saying! Awesome video so far!! 🫶🏾🥰✨
Yes, this struggle is something I went through, and something that resurfaces every once in a while. This video is such a good reminder that how good I am at art, or anything else for that matter, doesn’t define me. Thanks, Cher!!

Earlier this year I reached a breaking point. I got so consumed with drawing/projects that it became my sole identity, and my mental health suffered because of that. We need that constant reminder, and It's awesome that you're preaching it on the mountains. Keep it up, Kat! :)
I truly hope you’re in a better place now. I know that those thoughts and feelings never truly go away, but hopefully you can continue to preach the truth to yourself! Something I have to do often myself :)

This is intensely relatable. As I get older, the less time there is to make art and the easier it is to feel less-than as an artist. Adulthood creeps up! The struggle of feeling comfortable in yourself is an ongoing struggle, especially for introverts and creatives and those of us who have niche interests. You’re very talented and have a great approach to your life and work. I wish you all the best with your RUclips career and art endeavours! Thanks for making this video
