Excited na gumawa ng "What's in the bag" kasama ang Filipino 🇵🇭 Pool legend Carlo Biado. Si Carlo ay dating US Open Pool Winner at Dating World Nineball winner.
It's so funny that many of these interactions, the player doesn't know weights and dimensions of their cues. Goes to show they focus more on the game than the equipment. Using what feels good to them. Love this series.
Thank you 😊
that's the cringe part here in PH. you'll know they're just average player when they know a lot about cues. not all but most of the pro level players here in ph doesn't know shit about cues/tips.. they hone their skill by playing not by comparing width of the shaft, the brand, the tip, the crap.. there's nothing wrong about it but I hate those players who talks alot about their cues but plays like shit 😂
@@riclu6369well that's true here in ph pool is money game and people take it seriously
I think after so many years they don't like to change their equipment to not jeopardize their consistency, so you set it once and only change the tips after that. I also forgot the exact weight of my cue, I just remember that I set it to be comfortable after I bought it and that's all what matters.
Mao bah ungoy
No 1 money game player carlo biado here in philipines. Lov u carlo biado.im from india.
Awesome! These are so interesting. Carlo seems so genuine. Hard tip was surprising
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm surprised that he uses a 12.9mm shaft...obviously it's working for him tho. I've gone with the 11.8 REVO on my P3 n absolutely love it. My 12.4 is my backup now. Mad respect for Carlo's game n achievements 👏
Most ph players really loves thick shafts idk for some reason it hits good on the ball and less miscue i guess
Most pros in generally don’t go below 12. A lot prefer closer to 12.25-12.5. Some people feel that the smaller the tip the more action they can get and the better player they are. That does not seem to be the case the higher up you go.
Sure, gone are the days where people are using 14mm tips and they have gotten smaller especially with new technology like low deflection. But there comes a point where smaller doesn’t equal better and somewhere in the 12mm range seems to be the sweet spot. I am an intermediate player myself always used no less than 12.5
@reubenwahab3472 the 11.8 feels more accurate, definitely more effect on shots with English. I like a MAKO Pro tip, very responsive.
@@EricAndrewHipolito my Pinoy friends will shoot lights out with $15 bamboo cues they bring back from the PI! Amazing players 👏
I don't think it really matters much. Most players used between 12-13 mm. 11.8 is close enough to 12mm. I don't think there is a significant difference because you'll always adjust your game to the stick anyway.
Keep ‘em coming! Love this series, I see it becoming more valuable over time as we look back.
Thanks! Will do!
I was lucky enough to get to use his p3 during a lesson. He had just won the us open and had the lizard skin wrap on it. The texture felt like holding a shaped honey comb in my hand. What also struck me about his cue was how light it was. I couldn’t believe something so light could win so much!
lighter = less power but more detail, Joshua Filler even uses 17oz cue,I mean it's depend on your play style but i always think Biado's a power player. So impress he can do it with that light cue
One of my fave. He's one of the best out there. Awesome guy a true champion.
This is my favorite series keep them coming . Maybe ask about there first cue they took on the road
A very humble and natural human being nice video go champ carlo!!
I appreciate that!
Very humble ❤️
Love that you are focusing also on the tip to show what type of shape the pros are using
No problem
One of the best and most underrated players out there
He is not underrated for sure, carlos should always be the strong contender for any tournament he is in..
Notice how he said "they allow me " to use the V shaft.
what is V shaft
@jeffersonbautista3728
It's the Predator Vantage shaft.
Low deflection, wood - 12,9mm.
I just Googled Biado's cue couple of hrs ago then this poped up.
Thanks, Karl!!! For all other episodes, too.
No problem
@Karl Boyes: *Excellent Job. "Whats in the Bag" Will always be a favorite seriesfor the young and old. Amatuers and Professionals.*
*_PLEASE Keep the Series "Whats In The Bag" Going!!_*
We will run this all through 2024, minimum one a month 👊 fedor, Chung, Jayson, FSR and more to come
Go champ Biado 💯
I been waiting long time this kind of video What inside the Bag of a Pro ❤❤❤❤
Hey Edward, have you seen the other Leo player videos for what’s in bag? We have a new one to release in next few weeks with Mario He 👍
I will check and watch now thank you Karl Boyes Champ 🏆
I hope they discuss the weight of his playing cue. I know some players from Phillipines use much heavier cues than some might think.
Carlo uses 19oz weight on his cue
EARL STRICKLANDS RECENT INTERVIEW ON PODCAST SAY HIS CUE SOMETIMES REACHES 23, 25 OUNCES. NOT BY ADDING BOLTS, BUT THE EXTRA PADDING, GRIP, ETC, ADDS THE NUMBER-WEIGHT UP
@@PostUp_Time old school style playing a lot with closed brigde love heavy cue
He said 18.7
18.7oz
Man carlo is so simple no fancy stuff
Well prepared
worth noting the radial pin. i believe he had this custom replaced from the original uniloc pin.
Sir carlo yung tip ko kamui medium tip pinakabit ko kay sir nimrod pag after na gamit parang wax yung chalk sa tip every game ba need lihain?
Great video Karl can’t wait for the next one 👊
More to come! Lots more! Mario He dropping soon 👍
Great videos! Thanks Karl!
Glad you like them!
I noticed the radial joint, I had the same cue with uni loc and ended up selling because the feel was tinny.
Yeah, radial pin is way better. My break cue cue has the Un-Loc and I have to tighten it as hard as I can to not get the tinging noise.
I have the same setup with a vantage shaft but uniloc. Wish I would've tried the radial. I don't know the difference but so far I like the uniloc.👍
biado got so many knickknacks!
Sir can i ask ..the shaft of carlo is 13mm right? Thanks if u respond.. i wonder.. cuz i want to buy new cue.. thanks
12.9mm to be exact
It's a Predator Vantage shaft 12,9mm.
Let's go
Where ?
Black tiger and the nail cutter 😮
bandaids for when your fingers are too dry is great tip, especially for someone like me who doesn't like using gloves.
can you make what in the bag of Dodong and Badkoi pls, sir
Just took me 3 weeks to build my first table. Soooooo much work and I would have a heart attack if some jumped on it like that.
It’s a tradition in Pool when winning one of the majors 💪
Next what’s in bag EP with Do Khai plz
We still need to see Efren's what's in the case video
When we met Efren, we were very limited on time. Also it appeared he was using a predator break butt so maybe not his normal cue?
I heard in his prime EFREN just go went outside cut some brances of tree and uses it as a cue stick and won many matches
@@packohub1145 lol he could but he actually used a 20 dollar cue stick that was from his friend
@@KarlBoyesPoolLife yeah I saw that too a bk2 butt with a predator playing shaft I believe
How about the chalk?Taom or Kamui Roku is better?
Can u start showing rather its a uni lock or radial pin please
Will do
@@KarlBoyesPoolLife thanks bro.
slang na si idol ah hehehe
How bout Filler? Would love to see what’s in the bag?
Hey Ryan, did you see the Filler video? Posted last week 👍
the black tiger!
carlo "i like the fat butt" biado 😂
I use a traditional wood shaft on my Soutwest ( D. Whitsel) I tried hitting with a Vantage shaft, was about the funniest playing shaft I ever hit!
Agreed! The Vantage shaft is so stiff, and that fat conical taper. Not my cup of tea..
I play with the same set up a p3 and a vantage shaft whenever i get discouraged, i remind myself of Biado and to safe the excuses. This is my favorite setup and the best setup if your are coming from a house cue imo. Very predictable and forgiving.
You should try a Predator 314-3 shaft 12,75mm. But if you're happy, then ...
Honestly the Kamui M hits perfect for a few hundred balls then I feel it gets so hard and glazes and miscues to where you have to use the tip tools. The S always seemed the best but I think either there quality or consistency has gone downhill lately. It still glazes. The Zan Hybrid max seemed better but they are all sold out so I tried Zan Soft. Dont really like it. Zan Grip Hard was really nice and solid hit but lacked grip for very soft shoots. I think the harder the tip the more accuracy in the shot but at the expense of soft shot control.
Yon ang mahirap hanapin yung nail cutter 🤣😆 ✌️
You know he is hella Filipino once he took out the nail cutters Haha
I think the reason he not using the high end predators shafts and cues and prefers his old one is because its not about the cue its about the player. I know players at my local hall that run racks withe house cue and have also seen players with $1500 $1800 predator cues missing straight shots lol. That was my biggest fear when i was buying my first cue (which is not expensive at all) first improve my game run racks with house cues so im worthy enough in my eyes to own a personal cue. I loved it when the dude with $1500 cue would miss a shot then look at his cue like its the cues fault lolol.
Yeah I have a predator cue and it's way harder to play with it than a house cue. 1 piece house cues have better feel imo but the more you practice with low deflection shafts the easier it gets. My skills have also improved.
Her Wife Explained in their Vlog That Carlo Prefers to used wood shaft because he is more used to spinning the Cueball for Positioning,But after the Lushan Open he is switching to CF and Predator IKON 4-5 according to his Wife.
@@ajbaltazar8809 ahh good info
I wonder if all his shafts are 12.9.... that 12.9 he pointed out was his old cue.
I just do not get it. Why can't you do something about the low audio in all your vids?
Im sitting in a room with centralised aircon blowing in the background and the volume on my phone is at its max....and I'm barely hearing anything.... 😢
I have pointed this out many times, I do not think he reads his comments@@Stonefalconetti
Thanks for the feedback, we have had some previous issues with audio to do with Mic volume. However this was filmed on a table during the US Open so were being respectful to the players in the TV table.
Thanks for responding.@@KarlBoyesPoolLife
Sir guato ko po matuto mag bilyar
the last items in the bag are filo things haha
Please do joshua filler
I've been looking forward to this 😁😁🫡
💪
Hai karl Iam so intrested with your content with Carlo biado I will so happy if you want make the contet with a tony drago Iam so want know what’s the cue of drago used thanks karl
Thanks for the idea!
I also have a nail cutter in my case.
I have a Vantage shaft on a Cohen. They hit and play great. Not sure why they never really caught on. I don't care for all the skinny stuff, especially when using a closed bridge.
Wonder why he would have Neostigmine eye drops. Used for diagnosing myasthenia gravis
Where?
@@Stonefalconetti where what?
Karl, how bout Efren's bag?
EFRENS BAG-SHOW EXIST, MAY BE BY SHOW PRECEDING KARLS,
CALLED "WHATS IN THE CASE"
@@PostUp_Timechange that profile picture, dont be a idiot
@@PostUp_TimeYes, buy it is a very old vid....
Issue is he uses bk to play with hahaha
The nail cutter's for self defense.
Wow his playing cue which is 12.9 is kinda fat with Hard tips. That specs is mostly used for breaking cue. Well if it works for him, well thats good.
Ko ping chung bag pls
This will come early next year, spoke to him and he’s up for it, just timing 💪
lol on the coin😂
Nail cutter is the real champ here 😂
I was waiting til he pulls out some rabbits out of the bag
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
He is using Kamui Athlete Hard.
PINOY LANG SAKALAM - NAIL CUTTER😂😂😂
nail clippers and eye drops- for real
Anong reflux reflux? oh eto gaviscon.
Me too, Carlo, I also like fat butt
Doesnt look like a kamui clear.
He got rid of the clear pad before installing the tip
Looks like he opened someone elses bag.
def not a 12.9 shaft 😆
Urban…. Urbain…. who cares? 🤣
One of these days one of the players will pull a condom from the case haha...
😂
talo lang talaga filipino players sa interview e..
These vids suck. They all have predator cues with carbon fiber shafts or spliced shafts. Pool has become a very boring sport. The equipment mainly cue shafts has improved so much you can take a average cue and with todays shaft technology they all feel pretty dam good. Used to have to have a good cue maker make you a cue or buy a custom cue to get a great hitting cue. The sport has changed so much The pool halls , the players , the money games , it’s become somewhat boring now. If you were in pool halls in the 80’s and early 90’s you will agree. Used to love to see what. Custom cues the pros were using. Now they talk about the size of the tip and the hardness of the tip because all the cues are pretty much predator cues BORING. Lol. Custom cues and cue makers will be a thing of the past …sorry guys but there is something so cool when you screw together a custom cue that you just bought or had made. Or walking in a pool hall and seeing szamboti , schick , black boar , etc etc. now it’s like. Here’s my predator cue with carbon fiber shaft. Game has become boring We had a lot of pro players and guys who were good enough to be pro who would play for big money. Was fun going to the pool hall. Was always action ( money ). Not the same anymore
We have filmed all types of cues just look at our playlist 👌🏽
@@KarlBoyesPoolLife Hey brother. Not pickin on you or the channel. What I’m saying is every what’s in the case vid now is boring. All players are pretty much playing predator cues with carbon fiber / low deflection shafts. Seems like all there is to talk about is what tip are you using. Used to wanna see what custom high end cue they were playing. The sport has changed a lot. I’m an older guy. I remember the days when it was about what custom cue are you playing. Now it seems like custom cues are just for collecting which is a shame. I had Gus build two cues for me in the early eighties. $280 dollars for one and $295 for the other one. Sold both years later. Huge mistake. Had a schick built back in 93 Sold that cue as well. Maybe I’m too old school. But any of you guys who have been around the game a long time will agree. It’s not the same sport and the equipment nowadays looks like something I would have bought at Kmart back in the day. I know it plays well. But when you hit balls with a custom cue from a great cue maker it’s magical
POOL LEGEND HE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT HE IS NO EFREN EARL BUSTAMANTE
Not saying he’s seen in same light as those guys yet. But look at what he’s won. 2 US Opens and multiple world championships
US OPEN CHAMPION
WORLD GAMES CHAMPION
WORLD TEAM CHAMPION
WORLD 9-BALL CHAMPION
and now WORLD 10-BALL CHAMPION yeah definitely not a legend 😂😂😂
