Rekluse Z Start Pro and Basket Install

step by step instructions on installing the Z Start Pro from Rekluse!, The basket was purchased seperately due to my stock basket needed replaced. the stock basket and friction plates from your bike will work.

Is the pressure rod suppose to be seated a certain way? I found that my clutch doesnt seat down all the way and the outer area still spins because it wont slide into the grooves. When i remove the pushrod it fits. Any idea?

Is the inner clutch suppose to sit flush inside the basket? I’m trying to install the Z start pro in my 05 ktm 450 and it doesn’t sit flush inside the basket, and what I mean by flush is the back of the inner clutch isn’t sitting flush with the outside of the basket.

I am merely trying to change my starter clutch but I have to take the basket out in order to get to it

Do the friction plates have to line up when you put them in the basket. I notice they have grooves on some sides.

With this clutch the friction plates can go in either side, as long as they are seated in the basket you shouldnt have any issues.

Hey i DID mention there was probably a torque spec for the screws lol but im no pro and i like doing things dangerously 😂😂 the terrible thing is.......i have to take it apart again and replace the friction plates 😂😂😂💩
