After a literal life time of being battered about the head with the everything is ritual stick, it is so refreshing to hear that there are others out there willing to interpret these monuments differently. Two thumbs up, guys!
*sigh* The only thing I miss about 2020....being able to watch live streams. Around 36:20, when y'all are at Avebury and discussing theories, and it reminded me of a meditation path too somewhat.
cattle auction houses have narrow end where you can get the animal in stuck then control it and move it maybe it moved so you could show off cattle ya i jsut keep coming to that cause of my farming background
Stone circles in my experience are exact markers; of: Longitude from the Great Meridian and Latitude from the equator and all so far in my investigations concur mathematically thus.
lads, out on a prosthetic limb here no doubt, but, could those timber stakes have been seats? do we know how high they protruded out of the ground? if the audience could sit up on them then animals and hunters could run between them without danger of audience injury. is that possible rather than the roof theory? cheers, J
Enjoyed! Just a quick RUclips tip, it is possible to put things like links to patron and say questionnaires in live streams, even if you only think about it during the show. Ben Aaronovich does a very good fantasy/detective series of books using the old myths and gods of the Rivers of London called the Rivers of London... 🤔 😉 😅 😎 👀
With the timber ring structure with a roof would there not have been a water ring worn in to the ground from the rain, around the outside if it had a roof. I know they are occasionally found around round houses etc. I love the fact that the Cerne Abbas man is apparently best viewed from a church's front yard. It's also proof that as much as we know we can't quite shake superstition and the idea of magic. With how a certain area of the man is still er.... "used" by newly married couples and those trying for a child... Please please do a Wayland Smithy special. Its 1 of my most favourite sites.
Gadzooks! Prithee tell whence came this notion of fute-the -ball usurping such a fair retrospective? Tarry not upon the fivefold remainders, lest ye be verily cast amongst nought but Johnny-come-lately's.
Famous quote from my youth in Scotland: "ye can talk about sex, politics & religion, for all I care - but leave the footie out of it!" Maybe that explains it. The important "ceremonial" events of our time.

Stanton Drew: definitely not an arena in my opinion. The 9 concentric circles tell us a mathematical tale, anybody?

Sorry about missing the live show guys. Must try harder. Mind you it is a footy night.
How many structures were destroyed in WWII?
Is that drum kit in the background a portent of forthcoming duets via ADSL?
I assume the genre will be Stoner Rock.
Haha, you never know!
27:03 very loosely, how much of this thriving community as indictated by these monuments would have been active at a given time?

About square temples and what ARE those round structures. How about astrological triangulation? I'm talking evident world wide
