I've been playing planet zoo too much. I keep worrying that the animals don't have enough space or are in too big of group sizes... when this is minecraft... Amazing video, got several laughs from me. Especially when you "found" the mule.

I havent seen anyone mention it, but for the mooshrooms, its actually better you did it with a lightning rod; channeling only works if you hit an entity with the trident, which could easily have killed the target mooshroom.
Hey, to save you some time in the future with creatures in buckets (all fish, tadpoles etc) you can name the bucket of that creature and it will name the creature when you put it down

advice...channeling only summons a lightning bolt, if the trident hits a mob, it won't summon a lightning bolt if you just toss the trident at the ground so thats why it wasn't doing anything, you weren't hitting the mooshrooms
Ngl, before you do so, I would suggest making more enclosures/fixing the current enclosures for the vanilla mobs. This is one of the few, if not, only videos, I've seen that has done this for vanilla Minecraft, and on Survival mode, no less. (Seriously, it is kind of annoying to find a cool Minecraft challenge that no-one's ever done, vanilla or otherwise, only to find the challenge is done in Hardcore mode. Seriously, it's an unnecessary addition to an already difficult challenge of any sort, ngl.))

@@WildSpade The amount of effort it takes to make these kinds of videos always astounds me, but I was pretty impressed with the build of the zoo as well! I find it really hard to make mountains and natural terrain so I can always appreciate a beautiful volcano! 😅Plus I just like the attention to the mobs of Minecraft, they don’t get enough love!! Would you consider doing a playthrough of Alex’s Mobs and making a zoo out of all of those? Modded is really sick for creativity and I can see you spicing up all the builds you could make with the infinite potentials of modded blocks 🙌🙌
@@WildSpade first I saw the one where the island was cut with a line. The right side was finished and the left side was not built on. Now I’m seeing the one with the shark build that says zoo. If RUclips decided that the shark one was doing the best then I guess it’s the best. I just personally liked the other one. Sick build btw

Regardless you earned yourself a subscriber, hour long videos aren't the easiest to keep retention on but this was an amazing watch.

You can shear the bottom of glow berries and they won’t grow anymore, unfortunately it doesn’t work on vines but glow berries work!

They're building up momentum while you fly. You have to drop them in water to eliminate the fall damage.
Nah they updated that in 1.20 or 1.21, now it’s based on how fast you land

Nah it wouldn’t have. But I heard somewhere that they updated the way mobs on a lead take landing damage so that was basically me testing it.

I just meant passive as in non hostile. All the neutral mobs I got were; bees, foxes, goats, llamas, pandas, polar bears and the wolf.
