- At first sight, there is little clue to the secrets that lie beneath the Château de Brézé in France. But below the surface of this impressive castle lies a deep network of tunnels and rooms that together form one of Europe's largest underground fortresses.
Much like the billionaires of today, the lords of this castle carefully constructed themselves a medieval 'doomsday bunker' to provide themselves with shelter and protection in the face of invasion or disease.

Hey not use monstrous music
would watch a hour-long documentary on this !
Wow! Please tell us more!
Super interesting, and it would probably protect the occupants for a while.
The Vikings could easily wait them out, until their supply of food and water ran out, or the feces built up to an unacceptable level.
Very interesting but music was terrible.t
WHY the ominous music?..
the doomsday bunker looks cooler than my room, lol.
Is there any site plan?? Someone like me could get lost easily
Well, if I were a Army General, I think it would have been pretty easy to hand pump a big fiery smoke down there for a week or so. One of the easiest sieges in all of history. Anyone disagree?
good luck lighting that place with torches "during a harsh winter".
Who the hell hired their audio mixer? Hobbyist on Audacity have better standards.
Great visit, you can see a little more here www.experienceloire.com/breze.htm Oh and by the way, they were never ever attacked!
When you get into building underground in Minecraft:
PLEASE NORMALIZE YOUR AUDIO! The music is way too loud and the talking too quiet.
There's just been so much tunneling by princes historically hiding in the cleft's of the rocks though...

This may also come in handy once the aristocracy has
totally decimated the peasants biosphere.
France is just a perfect country guys..
Really focus on the first syllable of the word country. That's exactly what France is to most visitors.
