    When Usnavi went off-tempo I would've gotten eternally distracted. Props to you for being able to focus so well for two entire hours.
    EDIT: Multiple times a week no less.

    I've been watching these again and I've never noticed how much nuance is really needed for playing congas.
    It looks easy but the hand movements are so specific and precise

    Fantastic, Joe! All of the cues have to be spot on and perfectly-timed -- I'd never be able to do what you are capable of doing! I'm also a pianist/organist, but wish I were a percussionist after watching your video. Thanks for this great behind-the-scenes look at what makes "In the Heights" such an amazing work of art!

    I bet you if I was singing, everyone would throw tomatoes at me, so ima stick to percussion and not singing. No way!
