I completely agree that having a streamlined wardrobe can significantly reduce decision fatigue and free up time for more meaningful activities. Mindfull shopping has been a gamechanger for me. Giving myself a little time to consider if I really need anything new or if I am just buying it bc I’m bored or sad and think I need a boost of something new… has helped me to realize, how little I need and that most of the time, I already have enough. To change my mood if needed, I go for a walk or dance in my livingroom or call a friend. 🙂
That sounds like a fantastic approach - thank you for sharing! Being mindful about our shopping habits can truly transform the way we view our belongings and our relationship with consumption. Taking that moment to pause and reflect on whether we genuinely need something new or if it's just a fleeting impulse can save both money and unnecessary clutter in our lives. I love your strategies for boosting mood, - going for a walk, dancing, or connecting with a friend are all wonderful ways to lift spirits without accumulating more stuff. At the risk of being a consumer, what is the brand of the portable lamp? Yes, music too loud. Best background YT music: Outen the Lights 🙂. I’ll follow yours too.
Thank you for your comment! The portable lamp is from Casper, and it's called "The Casper Glow Light." It's great because the soft light helps wake me up gently in the morning once I set a time through its app. I'll definitely check out "Outen the Lights" for background music - thanks for the recommendation!

Love this! If I can do even a few of these, I would consider it a victory! In my own self-defense, though, I did apply the “one in, one out” rule for stuffed animals for the kids. 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Even implementing just one new habit, and sticking to it consistently for the next 21 days, can make a huge difference in simplifying life. And hey, applying the "one in, one out" rule for stuffed animals is a smart move! I do that with our furry friend. Sometimes, laughter is indeed the best self-defense against clutter. 😄

It's so relatable to accumulate shopping bags, isn't it? I used to do the same until I found a balance between what I actually needed and what I thought I might need. Now, I don't keep any. When I did, I got crafty with paper items, and that was fun although it probably only happened once or twice 😅 I've adopted the practice of not keeping shopping bags in my home, and it's made a world of difference. I collect so many shopping bags 😅
Me too 😂
It's so relatable to accumulate shopping bags, isn't it? I used to do the same until I found a balance between what I actually needed and what I thought I might need. Now, I don't keep any. When I did, I got crafty with paper items, and that was fun although it probably only happened once or twice 😅
I've adopted the practice of not keeping shopping bags in my home, and it's made a world of difference. One less thing to manage and store in my apartment-it's a small change that has had a big impact!
Thanks H!
You're welcome! I'm curious - what was your biggest takeaway from the video (other than shopping bags)?
You look like you have a helper. What's your puppy's name?
Yes, thank you for noticing! I do have a helper, an 18lb small but mighty assistant! He's a wonderful companion and also the main character in my videos. 😄
dude just a tip for your videos, your background music does not need to be so loud. your speech was so soft so i turned up the volume only to be jump scared by your loud music. jezus
Thanks for sharing your feedback! I'm working on adjusting the background music volume in my next video for a better viewing experience. Stay tuned for the new video dropping towards the end of the week. I appreciate your tip and support. Thanks again!
Hi! I wanted to let you know that I just uploaded a new video, "Minimalist Life Reset: 5 Tips to Own Less, Live More." Based on your feedback, I adjusted the music volume carefully. I hope it is better this time and provides a more pleasant viewing experience for you. Let me know what you think. Appreciate your support!
I wish you were also a minimalist in editing your video. Why does the background music need to be loud? Better yet, why background music at all?
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your suggestion and will definitely work on lowering the background music in my next video (hopefully coming very soon!). I can't wait for you to check it out and comment on the improvement. Thanks again for your support!
