Do the devs ever offer you guys an explanation when they release a game that needs heavy patches? I find it almost offensive. Like a restaurant serving up an undercooked meal for full price promising they will finish cooking it later.
30 years in the making...that's about how long I've seen the thumbnail posted in the "Coming Soon" section in the Nintendo eShop. Not sure if this one is for me based on the tactical combat system. I sure wish they had a demo that could introduce me to this style of game.
I'm honestly impressed that they even managed to port it and mostly keep it above 30fps. But let's hope they'll manage to fix the fluctuating framerate in a quick patch. And maybe fix that running issue... that sounds pretty annoying! I'll keep an eye on this one. Thanks for the review.
I'm seriously getting annoyed with having games with uncapped framerate and here makes even less sense aside from making it unstable. This could he easily fixed but just capping the framerate
Mark, the Devs are patching the run speed for the character and Horse starting with PC first then Consoles and Switch and you will be able to interact and pick things up whilst still on the horse as well they said.

It just needs QOL improvements like better tutorials, showing recommended levels of enemies, etc. switch performance seems to be pretty acceptable just with a few stuff that can easily be patched. I will probably buy when it hits $40 or so or the first patch comes along
I've been interested in this game for ages, but the performance has totally discouraged me to get it. I'll wait for those promised patches and for a sale. Thank you for the review. You guys are the best.

@@sselluoss5935 yeah that's a practice that needs to stop. Patches need to be for things that are legit missed during testing. Frame rate issues and lack of faster running would have been obvious.
Great review, Mark!
Thank you for your review,,
I guess I will buy the PC version,,
Waiting for your Baldo review
I had very high hopes for this. I hope they make it better with patches.
kings bounty on the sega genesis is a all time top 5 game for me
Great review m8. Really appreciate your efforts. Not a pick up for me.
Capped at 30 frames? Not a big deal. You must not have played through blight town in dark souls on Xbox 360. Haha
Probably wait to get this though on sale. $60 seems like a stretch with the bugs and glitches
Hours in between fights? What were these developers thinking? The other games were 80% fights.
