vet here- that oath doesn't stop the minute you elave the ship, base, duty station wherever for the last time- you carry it with you forever. Ypu swore an oath as a member of the armed forces of the United States to defend her, not walk all over the flag and use it as a weapon to usurp her on the orders of a despot

I’m an Army Veteran and an independent. Trump had 2 months to legitimately contest the results of the 2020 election, but on Jan 6 he was obligated to follow the Constitution and do what was best for Americans in general. He was President to all Americans and not just to his supporters.

I worked for the military in South Carolina 🙄 I could not believe how much they love Trump and how racist the military people were! I made a complaint! The VFW was the same way anywhere in the South and the North! I'm curious who these people are going to vote for.

Trump called Vets suckers and losers, and has declared his intention of being "dictator for one day" or something like that. Well, dictators don't work like that. If he gets in office again he will refuse to leave and has already stated how he wants to use the military to round up people, and put them in camps. And has also promised to deport student protestors. He didn't specify whether or not he means all student protestors, or just those who are immigrants. Regardless of where we fall on all the issues of the day, this is decidedly not how this country is supposed to function. I watched this video several times and never did see the hate you mentioned. All I saw was a man sharing facts about the Republican candidate for President. Never did he say anything about hating America either. I still have all my tax returns for the past 40 years which proves I've paid my fair share. Trump's too smart to pay taxes. This means I've got more right to be here than Trump does. He should move.

On August 11, 2020 Trump says if re-elected he will terminate Social Security. In 2024 Time magazine interview Trump said if re-elected he will make the elimination of the payroll tax permanent. The payroll tax is the FICA tax that funds Social Security and Medicare.
During 2020 a Social Security actuary said if the payroll tax is eliminated Social Security would end within 3 years. Not to mention what would happen to Medicare.

Whe tRump was President he indicated he wanted to cut government funding . The ramifications of doing that would have been catastrophic. Seniors can stay in their homes because of MOW. Without us where would they go ? Nursing homes can't handle the influx of that number of people and in reality 95 % of our people don't need nursing home care and do fine with care givers or visiting nurses. So he had no clue of the impact his idea would have had . That is just one example .
