    For the power of astrology to be fully unleashed, understanding of the physical properties is essential. The celestial bodies in which the signs and elements reside are physical entities that have physical aspects to them.

    Carl Jung's Collected Works, seminars, and letters contain numerous discussions of this ancient divinatory system, and Jung himself used astrological horoscopes as a diagnostic tool in his analytic practice

    I mean some could argue that it's actually egocentric to think that the universe has no effect on us, so the argument could work both ways. Someone might say that the planets are older and bigger than we are, and the idea that we are free from their influence is the ego elevating itself beyond itself.

    I love everything about this thank you for being a scientific voice in the astrology community. Spirituality & Science belong together

    I love what you said about how it’s not just people that “know” something special about the universe and people who don’t. And how you can teach yourself just like learning any topic. I agree that this guru mentality is hurting the image of astrology.

    The energy smoothie of my third house, Gemini and Capricorn placements generally appreciate your channel. “Metaphysical” and “physical” are not separated in the universal reality on a gradient. The primitive science Neil is attached to and gives him purpose is weak, fragile and afraid expanding beyond it’s crude measuring instruments. Capricorn Moon won’t stomach watching limited banter between celebrity culture entertainment. Bottom line when celebrities discount useful tools and corrupt the scientific method to deny exploring quantum subtlety, fuck em’. Ironically Neil and Kelly come from center of universe ego slice of reality, which is why Neil is the projecting his shadow. Would be nice if Kelly was more courageous with her secret beliefs. Got half way through vid and done here! Thank you!

    This is just plain science denial.

      Your criticism is very generic.
      I address this very thing in the video. You didn't actually watch, did you?
      Do you have any specific points or criticisms? I appreciate any you have.

      Yeah astrology is well described through cognitive bias and the barnham effect. Apply this and other explanations into occams razor.

      @Tristan-ni8qb 3 года назад +1

      You have to deny the actual demonstrated model to accept astrology as more than bias.

      You really say it at 25.45. When you can test it do it until then it's a moving the goal post fallacy and fails occams razor making it irrational.

      Then you concede that it's not scientific and more of just religious or spiritual. That's fine if people wanna believe even tho it's not true that's fine I guess but doesn't show its truth in any way.
